Great yoga instructor 1/28/2011

I am yoga lover. I am aware about benefits of it. But the only problem I faced is time agenda. But I came to sunstone yoga for inquiry I knew that they provide very flexible service. As far as the concern with tutoring method I already attended 2 yoga centers in past and I like sunstone yoga?s tutors most. I really like the way/method they instructing the students. more

The one of the best thing of Sunstone yoga is their instructors. I really love the way they instructing students; I noticed their attitude had never changed from day one to end of my batch. Second thing which I like most is their studios. The studios are really well-equipped. These are the qualities make them superior than other. more

I joined sunstone 4 months back. I was warmly welcome by yoga instructor at sunstone. Yoga is very crucial for body. But it must be taught or practiced under good and positive environment and also good yoga instructor who observe carefully. now I can live manage work-life balance without any hassle. This is a yoga business. They have a method and a style and do not drift from it. Now this is very good for some yogis but personally I like some creativity and personality in my practice. The teachers have been given a script which they will not stray from and discourage practitioners from straying in their practice. The instructors use microphones and there is NO time allotted to shavasana. The only thing that I really like about the place is that they have GREAT showers, provide towels and soap. If you are looking to sweat, build strength and flexibility this is a great place for you. If you are looking for spiritual fulfillment this place is detrimental to your peace of mind. more

Great Consistent Classes 1/14/2011

What I love about Sunstone Yoga is the consistency of the classes. The instructors are great and very knowledgeable. I don?t enjoy going to other yoga studios where the instructor spout off their latest new age garbage that they don?t really even understand. The practice of yoga itself is very fulfilling and relaxing. It is hard work for sure but well worth it. I noticed they are currently doing a 30 days for $30 this is an outstanding offer! i worked out at sunstone yoga wheni lived in dallas and loved it. however, once i moved away from dallas i canceled my membership. sometimes i would think fondly of my times and sunstone and sigh, wishing i could go enjoy heated yoga again... more

Like a dear friend 1/3/2009

I will admit that I was a slacker in '08 and I wasn't consistent with my practice. It is a new year and I have returned to SunStone in the past few weeks. I wasn't disappointed with any of my classes!! It was as if never left off. That is what I have always enjoyed about Sunstone. Like a dear friend, the teachers are always really nice and welcoming. As the years go by I find myself enjoying setting myself among the newer students for a few of the classes. I find the energy rewarding and they are more willing to smile back. The Sunstone staff has always been very accomidating with my account and they are always prompt in answering any questions I have via email. With the auto debit, all I have to do is walk in-sign in, and begin my practice. I am also looking forward to the extended hours and the hour classes!!! Great place 9/11/2008

I really appreciate the service that you provide, along with the atmosphere you have created. It has been a tremendous experience for me, both physically and mentally. I've lost about 20 pounds since I started last December. My doctor initially did not recommend this activity, and said that I would be seeing a lot more of him if I did yoga. After about 6 months he told me my posture was better, the sway in my back had diminished and that my overall health had improved. He recommends it now. Pros: lots of locations Cons: none more

Pursuit of the dollar 6/25/2008

I was a member of Sunstone yoga for over 2 years. I loved Sunstone in the beginning, before it became too crowded and students were asked to move mats--way too close to other students. I arrived early for classes to secure a spot in the room and to have some quiet time to relax and almost always had to move. However,I was willing to overlook these minor inconveniences. more

If you want a truly professional staff of instructors, this is the place for you. They offer a challenging workout (it's my replacement for running), supportive atmosphere, and the mental benefits that first drew me to yoga. more

Addicted! 8/20/2007

I just finished my $10 for 10 day trial, and I think I'm addicted. I really enjoy working out in the friendly and professional environment. They have clean mats for you to use (you can bring one if you want), towel service (no paying for use of a towel here), big bottles of water for only $1, yoga gear you can buy on-site, showers with shower gel and shampoo provided, not to mention some great teachers who will make sure you push yourself, but never hurt yourself. I love the feeling of getting all the toxins out of my system and taking 90mins just to focus on my body and my health...good ol' ME TIME. Pros: They don't charge 'extra' for towel or mat services! Great instructors, very motivational Cons: 6am start for a 90 min class doesn't leave me enough time to get to work! Parking can be a challenge more

Great facilities, knowlegable and friendly instructors, well-defined classes, and very convenient schedules. I love Sunstone Yoga! 5/19/2007

I tried yoga poses I saw in books or in magazines but Sunstone really helped me understand yoga. If you think yoga is all about uncomfortable positions, meditation, or chanting... well it's not at Sunstone. I have lost weight and I am in the best shape of my life. Even without meditation I find myself feeling the mental benefits of yoga. I try to get all my friends to come because I know what it did for me. I can't recommend Sunstone enough.
