Sunshine Florist has an in house bakery called BabyCakes Mini Cupcake Bakery. I called them on Monday to order cupcakes and have them delivered to my husband's job for his birthday. The day came and went and the cupcakes were never delivered. I called them that evening and left a voicemail message that expressed my dissatisfaction, but I did ask that they call me back because they had taken my credit card information and I wanted to make sure that I wasn't going to be charged for anything at a later date. I also felt I deserved an explanation. They didn't call me back on Tuesday and that evening I called and left another voicemail message. I finally got in touch with someone on Thursday and they gave me attitude. They stated the girl that took the order wrote Tuesday instead of today and that is why they were not delivered on Monday. They also said that they didn't call me back because they didn't charge my credit card and they didn't think I needed an explanation as to why the cupcakes were not delivered. They never once said ""I'm sorry."" BEWARE of this florist/bakery. They are bad news! more

Please take time to read, We recently were married and had contacted Sunshine Florist locally to do the Flowers for our Wedding and Reception. After contacting the Sunshine Florist and setting an appointment, My bride to be and I met with one of the technical floral planners face to face at their place of business to discuss plans and delivery of our arrangements and flowers. We were quoted an outline with costs and delivery fees. Our requests for what features we wanted provided were very ""Specicific"" and ""Sketched"". We had listed and agreed with the representative who took our order, exactly what we would like for the wedding bouquets and arrangements for the Wedding and Reception Dinner. Speaking only on value and service, we were shocked and completely dissappointed to receive the Bouquets for the Bride and Bridesmaids as they had all been taped with Scotch Brand Tape and all the Flower arrangements were less than supermarket shelf quality inventory. Our Centerpiece for the Reception Dinner basically came in a fishbowl you would most certainly throw ping pong balls at the Fair to win a Goldfish. I am almost certain the Sunshine Florist representative and florist internally may have received training in how to disconnect with your customer while still extracting their Money. I have witnessed many wedding and social events on all levels, but do not think in review I have ever seen such a poor quality of flowers or presentation on what is supposed to be a special occasion for the marriage of two people. Considering price and value I would only submit to any perspective customers who read Reviews. Please shop elsewhere and find better value for your hard earned money somewhere else. You are wasting your time to purchase Flowers or Arrangements from this local supplier.\r \r FACT\r more

I have recently placed an order with Sunshine Florist for one dozen roses and six cupcakes to be delivered to a residence in Oakwood, Georgia. The product was never delivered to the residence. I have repeatedly tried to reach the florist to resolve the issue with no avail due to screening of phone calls. After calling from a different telephone number, my call was immediately answered and the representative from the florist shop said that she would contact me by email to verify delivery confirmation. I was advised to call back if I had any other issues and leave a message and my call would be promptly returned. Needless to say, the confirmation email never came. To this date, I have left four voicemail messages with no returned phone call or any attempt to confirm delivery to say nothing of failed attempts to reimburse a dissatisfied customer for goods that were purchased and never received. Another attempt to contact the florist was made again, calling from yet another phone line and the call was this time answered. As soon as I verified my identity, the same representative I had previously spoken with at the florist stated ""I know who you are. I am avoiding your calls because you are rude."" The call was promptly ended. I have only been adamant in seeking resolution to the florist's inability to deliver their product and to follow through with ""claims"" of customer service. I have since filed a claim with the Better Business Bureau and have contacted MasterCard who will be reclaiming the funds from the merchant for a full reimbursement. I suggest others do the same since reading through the company ratings, this is not their first offense false deliveries as well as poor business practice and awful customer service. The biggest advice I can offer is to AVOID THIS FLORIST ALLTOGETHER!!!! more

When you order flower arrangements, you never know what you get, if you get it. Bouquet was delivered to the wrong address and it definitely lacked ""sunshine"". When I called they did not want to accept any responsibility for what happened. more

I recently ordered a floral arrangement from Sunshine Florist in Gainesville for my wife on our 1st wedding anniversary. I asked that flowers be delivered before 11:00a or after 1:00p, she is at lunch between those times, I was assured it would be done. I expressed that local merchants get my business and not a 1800 company, she thanked me repeatedly. Not only did they disreguard my request on delivery time they also attached a birthday card instead of an anniversary card and the flowers were 1/2 dead. Repeated calls went unreturned. When i did finally reach me they told me i was a liar about the delivery times and the card was a ""honest mistake"" and hung up. I was not amused by this lack of professionalism . People of Gainesville you have be warned. more

I recently ordered flowers for my mother and father's 50th anniversary event. I discussed two times with the owner that I wanted mainly white daisies with yellow centers because these were my parent's wedding flowers. When I received my flowers the day of the event, they were pretty, but there was not a SINGLE white daisy in ANY of the arrangements... instead they gave me yellow and purple daisies, when I specifically said no bright yellow or purple. I was upset, but knew that nothing could be done... it was too late. I called Reisa to calmly discuss my disappointment, and she yelled at me and hung up on me. I was astounded, so I attempted to call the number for the shop. The calls apparently get forwarded to Reisa, however, and she continued yelling at me, and this time I told her where to go and hung up on her. I mentioned it on facebook, and one of my friends also said that they completely botched her entire wedding flower order. I will never recommend this shop to anyone because of the terrible, unprofessional behavior I was subjected to. My mom was severely disappointed about the flowers. They are a disgrace to the floral industry, and I will make sure to spread the word. more
