Woodhaven Manor is a great location in a great city. The surrounding environment is very family oriented. The complex itself has had some very rough edges at times; however, the city, new owners and police department has worked hard to make it a safe place to live. Only now within the last year has it become a safe place to live. Unfortunately some of the good people have moved out along with the bad due to unknown circumstances. The new owners have put a lot of money into the complex to enhance and up-grade the existing environment. This would include video cameras, new paint and windows, gates, new playgrounds, community buildy, carports and such. We could use a few aminities for the adults like a work out room, swimming pool and basketball court, but I guess we'll just have to make do. It has been a slow process, but worth the wait. The one improvement that can be made , is better response time in maintaining repairs. Other than that, everything that one would want to do is right here in the city, library, movies, skating ,bowling, shopping, child and adult sport programs and of coarse excellent food. The schools are also very good. The complex itself along with the surrounding environment has a very mixed culture that works well in this community.
