I love this apartment. It's nice, ground level. It's a fair price for what you get- and it's not full of sketchy people or loud college parties. I'm in college myself, but I moved...

I recently moved in and it is a nice place with a good rent. It is with in walking distance of Wal-Mart, Big Lots, Best Buy and several other places. They are also updating or upgrading several things on this property and the management is great. I would recommend this place for people. more

Definitely not the same Sun Rige Village as when I moved here. Since the change of ownership/management, the overall look of the grounds has deteriorated. Sure, the apartments got new roofing and the parking lot got repaved, but there's trash all over the place and the grass is dying. Plus, the price for rent is not worth the living experience. The washers/dryers in the laundry rooms are not that great, and neither is the exercise room. The complex used to be very nice, now it's got an unclassy feel to it. The previous management and staff were much friendlier and they even hosted social events for the tenants. New management imposed new rules and fines for ""violations"" which are ridiculous for the most part. Now, it looks like Wyoming is taking over the apartments. The management/staff who appears to be either family or friends for the most part, all live here. It's nice that they're here for on-site support, but then again they have special privileges in the clubhouse afterhours. You can hear them playing pool sometimes when you walk by at night. Of course, the tenants aren't allowed to use the clubhouse afterhours. It's so ridiculous that they even cover the office/clubhouse doors with a black showercurtain so that the tenants don't see them. Bottom line: Look elsewhere. No wonder there's so many empty units. Pros: Location Cons: New management/ownership more

Good, Quiet Place in Cruces. 11/6/2007

I love this apartment. It's nice, ground level. It's a fair price for what you get- and it's not full of sketchy people or loud college parties. I'm in college myself, but I moved off campus to get away from loud dorms so this is great for me. I'm impressed with the maintenance- they seem on the ball. They checked my heaters BEFORE it got cold to make sure I'd have no problems this winter. There have also been a lot of changes- new managers, new parking lot, new roofs, new security guard, etc. All and all I'd say the changes were for the better.\r \r It's also nice where this is at- It's across from a big park, middle school, close to Walmart, easy access to Triviz (which is the quickest way to campus from this part of town) and Lohman, bus stops, etc. I think it's location is one of it's biggest selling points. That and the noise. It's quiet here at night, which is something that is not availible everywhere in town.\r \r I recommend this complex to anyone! Pros: New management is putting a lot of money into new improvements. Cons: Evaporative air. more
