Worst

Avoid this course at all costs - its cheap and there's a reason for it. People hitting into you from all angles, our group was hit into 4 times in the first 3 holes (Palm Course)...

Just got the Siri app on my phone and was curious about the really old reviews for this golf course. Here is an updated review. Played there on the day after Thanksgiving, always a hectic day of golf no matter where you play. They had a little frost delay and we went out an hour and a half late. Can't control mother nature. The staff behind the counter was very friendly and we were surprised we played within 4.5 hours. Contrary to previous reviews, we saw a ranger on each course and they were very friendly. The course conditions were pretty good but the greens were in excellent condition. Probably one of the best for an older public course. I would recommend you play Sunol. more

Two courses to choose from, both challenging in their own right. very nice club house and friendly staff make up for some lack of fantastic playing conditions. more

great banquet site 2/22/2006

My company had their annual holiday dinner here last year and it turned out really nicely. The food was really good and service was also great. The banquet room was also really beautiful and spacious enough to fit our group and then some. The location is also a plus since it's close to the freeway and not too difficult to find. I would definitely give this place a consideration for weddings and other events. more

Great Place 8/20/2005

I got married here and they did a really good job. Everything went smoothly and food tasted great. The prices are very decent. Its a beautiful place and that made for some good pictures as well. They also have golfing so if you want to do that its a nice golf course. They also have many different rooms to choose from when your looking to get married there. Some with some great views. more

WARNING 7/24/2004

Dont even bother going, too windy, people are so up-tight. Some people even tool our golf balls when we were playing. The rangers nag on you, if someones behind you and no one in front even if you just started the front or back nine. Rather go somewhere else and spend ten or moer dollars than go back there. more

The holes are aligned to encourage stray balls. And only one marshall for 36 holes? Nice cheap way to spend your day, if you have 5-6 hours to spare... Pros: Cheap Cons: No Marshalls, Lots of Stray Balls more
