my dog was hit by a car and broke his femur. the bill was 1700$ and i had just moved back from oklahoma. dr park helped me get intouch with animal rescue organizations that helped pay for the surgery and luckily he also is park of a discount groung called pet assure that automatically take 25% off you bill. thanx to them my dog can run again and for only 450$ outta pocket. thank you dr park more

I like the fact that this is near my place cause it's cheap and it's a friendly pet place to bring your pets to. The Vet is really nice to animals. more

I am so thankful that this is the office I ended up in, they made a painful hour of my life less so, but more importantly did the same for our dog. more

Six days after my dog was spayed, her sutures came off and her intestines spilled out. It was a Sunday so I had to rush her to an emergency vet. Apparently my dog was not correctly sutured and we were never told to get or given a plastic cone buster collar. The emergency bill is $4,000. I told Dr. park's office and they told me she must have been chewing on it for days. My dog is an indoor dog and is with me all the time. I am a disabled individual and am unfortunately at home 24/7. She sleeps in my bed. If her guts were hanging out, I would be the first to notice. Then when given the number of the emergency clinic Dr. Park's office had the audacity to tell me there was no dog at the other vet under my name or the dog's name, and that I must be lying. The other vet already told me she was incorrectly sutured in a "dirty operation". Be very careful of their very low prices. They are low for a reason. I have already filed a complaint to the veterinary board of California. more

I have been coming to Dr. Park's clinic since it opened in the early 1980s. I can tell you why I keep coming back: because he provides EXCELLENT care at very, very reasonable prices. Let's face it, in these tough economic times, who isn't looking for value?! He understands if you have financial difficulties and is willing to work with you. If you are looking for an animal Ritz Carleton, then you will be disappointed because the building is old, the cabinets are worn and the flooring probably should be replaced. However, if you are looking for someone who has many, many years of experience and finely honed clinical and surgical acumen and cares for you and your pet, then I think this is the place for you. Chances are you will have to wait...which is difficult in our instant gratification society...but sometimes the best things in life come to those who wait. more

Tessie, Lucy and Homer( went to doggie Heaven) my 3 basset hounds have gone to Dr Park's and his AWESOME staff for 10 plus years. I don't know about you but what doctor and his staff will take the time out to pray's for each pet and parents before each day. He is an awesome Doctor and his staff are dedicated to the well being of our dogs who quite frankly don't know they are dogs. I love Dr parks and his staff and owe them much graditude for the years of wonderful care of my babies. more

Dr. Park is amazing. My family has always gone to see Dr. Park, and so have my best friend's family, and my husband's family. Recently we moved to Alabama, but when my dog came down with mange, I called Dr. Park's office to see what I should do. Dr. Park actually got on the phone with me and gave me some suggestions for what I can do until my appointment with the Vet out here. He always remembers our family. Yes, his office is always crowded with the people and animals he loves to serve. In the 20 years or so we have been seeing him, not once have I seen his office dirty and covered in urine and feces. Animals are well cared for, and his staff is always polite and efficient. more

I would have to disagree with the negative comments as well. I adopted a puppy a few years ago and within the first few days of adoption I found out she had parvo. I took her to the "nice" hospitals and all gave me no hope for recovery but I found Dr. Park and took her down there and after 5 days she survived and was back to her normal puppy self. I am so thankful for what he did and I continued to take my animals there. Never once had anybody been rude and all my animals were well taken care of. If he wasn't so far I would go more often. more

This were I take my cockatiels for care. The other day my bird had a blood feather and bleed badly and he saved her life. I wish he would talk more but I am happy with the fact that he gives good care to his patients and charges modestly. more

My husband and I have been using Dr. Parks for over 15 yrs. My mother and Father took all of their pets there as well and I have to say Dr. Parks is Wonderful!!! We had a Rottie named Daisy and she was our baby. Daisy was a blessing to our family. Unfortunately she had severe pancreatitis several times and lock jaw once. She had to say a few times for more then a week at a time because she was so ill. We trusted Dr. Parks to get her better and he did every time. We worried about the bill after each stay and I can honestly say we were NEVER over charged. I actually think we were under charged. Dr. Parks knew how much we loved our girl and he NEVER took advantage of what we would do to keep her in our lives for as long as we could. When it was finally time for us to say good-bye after 14yrs. Dr. Parks hugged us and I knew he really did feel for our loss. He really does care! Daisy has been gone for 31/2 yrs now. We have her with our Beloved Bailey who also was a happy patient of Dr. Parks in urns on the mantle together. 2 weeks ago we finally decided it was time to love a new dog again, so we adopted a new lil guy we named Shugg who will have his 1st appointment next week with Dr. Parks. more

I have taken two dogs to be fixed here, and although the place isn't all fancy its still a great place to take your animals for a low price. more

I LOVE THIS PLACE!! Yeah its not the prettiest place, and yeah the wait is looong BUT the Doctor is great, the prices are low and my animals come out of there healthy and happy. For the people that cant stand this place because of its lack of decor or the wait, ill tell you why that is. Dr. Park would rather spend his time making sure each individual pet that walks in there gets his equal time, he makes sure that the owner of that pet leaves knowing that his has done everything in his power to take care of their pet. So instead of raising the prices to pay for a fabulous pet salon, he keeps his office a bit plain but keeps the prices fabulously low! If he were to add any decorations it should be that poster with the kitten in the tree and the saying "Hang in There!". That statement rings true for so many different people on so many different levels. Thanks Dr. Park for saving my puppy! more

the doctor here is very caring and understanding of peoples financial situations, he never overcharges the service here is a little slow but only because there are a lot of patients. more

I adopted a dog a year ago from Petsmart and was recommended to go to Sunnymead by the adoption agency. This office is very modest--but what it lacks in appearance it makes up for in value. Our puppy needed his shots and they were about 15 dollars, half of what most clinics charge. Our puppy later needed to be neutered, and although our adoption agency paid for it, it would have only cost around 35 dollars, priced very, very reasonably. Our puppy seemed to be unhappy in a cage, but how else are dogs going to be kept when waiting for or recovering from surgery? We picked him up in a timely manner and he recovered quickly from his surgery and stitches. The staff has always been great to us, and for how busy they are, they do an excellent job. It is obvious that they have a passion for dogs. I personally have not experienced anything wrongdoing from their part, no neglect or disorganization or even a bad attitude when they are busy. My dog has received excellent care. Give this place a try! You can't afford not to. more

Every time I go here, I'm always shocked by how low the prices are. It's an honest, and caring vet. I first came here on a friend's recommendation, and I feel so blessed that she mentioned it. I have a mini zoo, and sometimes costs can just sky rocket. I'm taking my bf today for a hamster visit, and every where else was about at least 2 times more in price. I can complain all I want about the wait, but I'll always go here. Thanks so much Dr. Park! more

Dr. Park is an excellent vet. He will not over charge you for services. He also makes it affordable to spay and nueter your pets. If you need help Dr. Park will help. more

Dr. Park has always been wonderful. I have had nothing but good experiences there. He has been more flexible with payment, and has been wonderful with my animals. I know some here have not had a good experience with him, but honestly I wouldn't recommend anyone else! more

We have been taking our pets to Dr. Park for over 15 yrs. Our lab puppy got parvo shortly after we rescued her & the ER gave us no hope. Dr. Park said he would get her well and he DID. This was when she was about 10 weeks old. He's a very caring person. His fees have gone up over the yrs but he still much more affordable than the vet by our home. He's very busy so expect to wait but I don't think you'll get better care or a better price for it. We've had 3 cats & another dog and he takes care of all of them. My 18 lb kitty got himself into some trouble & needed surgery on his leg, but he was good to go afterwards. We decided to make him an "indoor" cat after that & he wasn't too happy with that decision. But at least we were with him when he passed at the age of 14 1/2 yrs. more

Dr. Park and his staff are very busy and they do an excellant job. I highly recommend using Sunnymead Veteranary Clinic for you pet needs. If you are in a hurry go some place else who does a faster job with less care! more
