We LOVE studio 9 salon!! We had always seen it on the way home from the Doctor. On day we thought we would try it. I sent my best friend to check it out first : ) his hair looked fantastic so my Brother & I went and had Heather cut our hair. Heather is awesome!!! The entire staff is VERRY professional . We also see the owners there almost every time we go. I think that's REALY important for the Boss to be there. LOVE STUDIO 9. I will never go to another salon. THANKS HEATHER!!! more

Ive never been to a salon where you have to double check the prices before you go in. I went in to have a service, and within a week the price doubled. There was no sign and they didn't bother to mention it to me when I came in. The receptionist said "Yeah they raised the price." They didn't care at all, so I had to pay 46 dollars for something that should have cost 26. I don't want to have to verify prices every time I go into the same salon. Never again. more

Barbi is the BEST! When I dropped off my wife for her massage appt., I was curious to see the inside of this monumental, tastefully done location. I felt like I was walking into my own home with the warm welcome from everyone! Never dreamed I was giving my wife the best gift ever! I couldn't believe my eyes and with as busy as they were everyone was relaxed! Now the wife won't go anywhere else and all she's done is gush to our friends and family about the great massage she got. Barbi, you have a customer for life - and that's my wife! The best massage I have ever had hands-down! Barbi gave me the most relaxing, therapeutic massage imaginable. I don't know how she does it, but during my 90 minute session with her I was better than "good to go". I won't go anywhere else and won't ever let anyone but her give me a massage! I love the place!! Very well deserving of its first place Title for all of metro detroits salons! They are all very down to earth people and really care about how you feel with your service. They always work extra hard to make sure that i can fit in to their schedule. Their new salon opening up in January is going to be just beautiful. Whoever wrote about the pedicure bowls in 2005 needs to come in now, because they have faucet bowls and vibrating chairs now! They must of come a long way and im proud of them. Thanks a lot studio 9 you guys are great! more

As someone who is particular about his hair, I was delighted to find Studio 9 right in my backyard. My stylist, Kelly, is skilled, fast and has a pleasant personality. The front desk staff is courteous and professional. The prices are very good for the value you get. Studio 9 even reminds you of your appointments by email! I highly recommend Studio 9. more

I have NEVER had a bikini wax before and i was very skeptical to who i would let do it. I found their salon on Google and i am so HAPPY that i did. Bonnie did my wax and she did AWESOME, i loved the results..and i was very nervous since i am an African American girl so i wasn't sure how the wax would turn out. I would recommend this salon to all my friends! Nice on the inside & very clean. Wonderful staff more

I have never been turned away at this salon, and have been a walk in many times. They have a large enough staff to be able to take care of everyone. I use it mainly for spa treatments. After about 10 pedicures, I now know who to ask for, and who to avoid. Similar experience with manicures. I feel that the main advantage is that they are open on Mondays when most salons are closed. Their prices are in line with other establishments I have been to. My family knows my appreciation for the place, and now buys me gift certificates for special occasions. I am a happy returning customer. more

Nice salon on the inside. I went for almost 3 years. One day there was a mix up with my hair color....no one cared. I called to see if I could get it fixed for free or at least at a discount. The owner Verna never called me back.(3 messages and an email to their website) I guess they have way too many clients to care about one. If you need a quick hair cut I would recommend it because they always work to get you in, also they do a nice job on eyebrows and it is always nice and clean inside. But if you have a problem- they could careless!!! more

The staff here is okay but not extremely friendly or welcoming. I was content with my haircut; it wasn't bad but it wasn't excellent either. This salon is just average in all areas. I think you should only go here if you have a hair emergency and can't get in at any other salon. If your regular salon is open though, you should probably just go there because this is nothing out of the ordinary. more

I tried out this salon when it first opened because of a coupon offering 25% off your first visit. I love the salon I usually go to for my hair, but it is very expensive and only does hair, so I thought I'd try this out and get a pedicure at the same time. Even with the coupon, however, it was only $5 less than at my normal salon for a haircut and highlights, and I was not as pleased with the results. The highlights looked chunky, which is not how I like them. The pedicure was the same price as at the salon I usually get them, and was definitely not as good. Now, this was when they first opened, so maybe has changed, but at the time they had a small tub for you to soak your feet in, while you sat in a regular salon chair. It was just a small little thing like you use at home. At my other salon, you get to sit in a lovely vibrating chair and soak your feet in a large tub which has faucets and heating elements and is awesome.
