Stone's Auto & Truck Repair

Unfortunately I had just the opposite experience with them. A $300 estimate went to over $900. They didn't call to tell me what was happening before working on it, as they were requested. They did not use inexpensive parts as requested, instead the most expensive they could find. They couldn't keep their stories straight. One person told me that they hadn't done the work yet. 5 minutes later someone else told me that they just had to put the wheel back on the car so it was too late to order cheaper parts. What makes it even worse is that the work done was done poorly. I am about to call them to come tow it back 70 miles to their shop. That is the only place they will honor their warranty of course. We will see how that goes. Next letter is to the BBB the local Chamber of Commerce and the Attorney General's office. Sad. more

This place is off the beaten path, sets next to the owners house and is staffed and run by down home people. They won't take you for a ride when they give you an estiment on your vehicle. No uptown, pricey garage, just downhome people with values you can't find at most garages. If they don't have the part you need they will work hard in finding the part and fix your vehicle in record time.
