I have been a member of Stonebriar for about 4 years, driving 120 miles to/from Lake Texoma. After my first visit, I knew God had me in the right place, at the right time. I really do enjoy getting to visit with Pastor ""Chuck"" and share cartoons, some of which Stanley Toussaint's wife, Max, tells me are ""corny"". So much for my corruption of the Greek word ""Koinonea"", which I have titled as ""Kornynea"". Having sat under Dr. S. Louis Johnson, deceased, from Dallas Theological Seminary. I have a real appreciation for the Exegesis of the Word, which I find, in abundance, at SCC-Frisco. In this setting, I find myself more attuned to the Holy Spirit, both in the church service and in the Marathon Fellowship. Oh, I still find myself tempted to roam (my old sin nature) but, even that is becoming less and less, Praise God. Another enjoyment is the great musical (professional quality) talent to lead us in worshipful hymns. I have a long time appreciation for the ""King of Instruments"", most ably played by John Dill on our new, magnificent Allen Organ. It will blow your mind! So, I depart Lake Texoma at about\r 6 AM to make my weekly trek to and from Frisco. I feel that you, too, will be blessed with\r your visit to and membership with us at Stonebriar Community Church, Frisco, Texas. more

Warmhearted Loving Family, Reeks Of Health, Luv And Grace!!! 10/4/2010

Could you hack getting USDA Prime Filet Mignon steaks dished out regularly? That?s what this place is like, but in a spiritual Way! Master communicator, Chuck Swindoll, delivers the best kind of groceries to the hungry and to the thirsty with excellence. He does this to bless, to nourish, to strengthen and to encourage his hearers, but he also does this with others in mind! Chuck does this primarily to glorify God! more

A welcoming body of people with a great pastor. 2/17/2010

I have been attending since the late 90's when we were a small group meeting in a community church gym seated on lawn chairs. Chuck Swindoll is an amazing bible teacher and I continue to drive to Frisco from Dallas to hear his message. Formerly the head of the Dallas Theological Seminary, his sermons are like being in a classroom. Everyone seems to bring their Bible and take notes which is good as it helps me remember specifics. \r \r The church family is large, but Sunday classes help you get to know each other better. I love the large choir, traditional hymns and the beautiful music. My walk with the Lord has grown deeper since I have attended Stonebriar Community Church. more

He does this to bless, to nourish, to strengthen and to encourage his hearers, but he also does this with others in mind! Chuck does this primarily to glorify God! Pros: God will change you, meet your needs and you will grow. Cons: The pros are abundant and my freinds and I know of no cons. more

This church is amazing! Gotta see it for yourself! 6/3/2006

Been visiting this churcjh for the past 6 months. It is huge and is so friendly. Everyone knows everyone. It has a huge school for the children inside for church time and during the week. The Sunday school teachers are really knowledgable and very nice. The Preacher is so easy to listen to and doesn't put you to sleep. I feel so comfortable going there.\r Would recommend to anyone without hesitation. PROS: Great church CONS: none more
