My experience with Stonebridge has been a complete and utter nightmare from the start. Stonebridge built a home for me in the southwest side of Eugene, OR. The first associate from the company we were working with was wildly incompetent, made egregious errors, and was in no way organized in a manner that one would expect from someone to whom you are about to give a considerable amount of money. She had poor communication skills and really complicated the home buying/building process for us. Thankfully she was let go, and it would have appeared that our problems with the company were over, but that unfortunately was not the case. Once our home was finished we conducted a walk-through to identify any problems. We found quite a few problems like scratched up cabinets, unfinished carpets and drywall, and were assured by the contractor that they would be "taken care of by Monday". It is now approximately 8 months later and only 1 or 2 of the identified issues were resolved. Apart from that, the house was so poorly finished that I was in shock, it looked like they hired an eighth grader to paint the home and it was missing caulk in many places. After having been in the home 8 months I can only say that the problems have grown worse--substantial cracks appearing all over the home, my shower tiles are caving in, the floor tiles are cracking for no reason. On top of that, they left objects underneath the carpet so when walking around barefoot there will randomly be a large lump or piece of debris they left behind. Basically, as soon as they got our money, they ceased to offer customer service of any kind, and they certainly didn't live up to their agreements. Don't let this happen to you, stay far away from this company. None of this would be a problem if it weren't for the fact that the company does not want to own up to its problems. When the contractor was confronted with these issues he acted offended and tried to play them off as nothing. Then the owner of the company got involved, and she was even less of a help.
