Stew Strauss entertainment provided great DJ services for our formal black-tie wedding reception in South Lake Tahoe.
We made our music selections easily using his online music database, where we selected a "play list", "do not play list", and a "play if you can list". When we found one of our choices did not appear on his list, he went and got the song for us to add to the database.
The night had a smooth flow and he was flexible, even when we had to rush him our last minute selections (which we didn't have time to add online) via our ipod minutes before the ceremony started. Stew's voice is pleasant to listen to and he's very energetic. He has a classy, professional demeanor.
We wound up with a larger "do not play" list than play list, but he honored our every wish - even when our friends tried to coerce him into playing some music not on the play list.
Our guests were dancing well into the night, even after the reception had ended. For us that's a sign of a great party, so we would recommend Stew for any formal event!
