Best Tattoo in PB 5/23/2010

You can't walk down Garnet St in PB without walking past a tattoo shop. When I wanted some work done I didn't know where to start. After visiting a few shops, I came into the Ink Spot and the good vibe was immediate. I spoke with one of there artists, Keith Quillin, who took the time to ask what I wanted and how I wanted it. Instead of just "picking something off the wall" he insisted I get some ideas and meet with him with a clear picture of what I wanted. I was looking for a full tribal sleeve, and it was a few days later that we put it into action. We took a few hours to get the design right and he was completely professional. He took my ideas and combined it with his profession ability and came up with an AMAZING design. Once we started putting it on, I was amazed by Keith's stamina. As long as I was willing to get tattooed, he was willing to keep going. After 3 days, my tattoo was done, and I could not imagine having anything else. Between the quality and the price $$$ of the work we did, I could not be happier. Anyone that I talk to who wants a tattoo in San Diego, I refer them here. I looked at the other artists portfolios and they all do great work. Keith is AMAZING, but if he isn't available, I'd be happy with anyone else there. If you want quality, lasting work, I can say that the Ink Spot is definitely worth stopping by. When I want work done in San Diego, I wont go anywhere else. more

A+ 10/15/2009

I have been past the Ink Spot many times when going to my favourite bar, Bubs. My GF wants her tongue pierced (and who am I to say no) so we go over remembering they do piercings there too. The owner as it turns out does the piercings there sometimes and he was really relaxed and nice (jolly actually LOL). The jewelery selection was vast though not as much as Enigma. She picked out a sparkly bead for the top and the piercer got set up. I walk into the room when they say they were finished (I couldn't watch, lame, huh?) which was very quickly and checked her studded tongue our. Very sexy I told her. She was so happy and couldn't stop talking about the shop and what she'd get pierced next. more

I love the tattoo I got 10/22/2005

This tattoo parlor by far was the best one I previewed, and then later got, my tattoo from. The staff was friendly, and my tat artist did a great job in every aspect of the tattoo. He spent a lot of time designing it and working on it. It took three sessions, and even though that was three painful sessions, I never felt uncomfortable and was thrilled with the results. Its worth the time and the money that went into my tat, because it came out much nicer than I would have imagined. If you're thinking about getting your first tattoo as well as adding on to existing ones, I would recommend going to the ink spot. more
