BEWARE!!!! If you take your clothes to this place for alterations i.e. a basic hem, you will receive the classic bait and switch. The older Asian woman and her assumed husband does the labor while while the Black female employee heads the front end of the business. The shop is located in a strip mall on a busy roadway nestled within a low rent housing area. Patronized by a highly African American it is easy to understand the condescending manner the Asian owners believe they can treat ALL of its African American customers--without care or concern. I tried on six pairs of the pants I intended to have altered. While the Asian owner placed the hem mark, I wore the exact shoes I would wear with those pants on my trip. All was well until I left town with the altered pants in my suitcase. Four of the pairs that I had altered were obviously STILL TOO LONG! It were as if they had not been touched at all. When I went back to have her redo the hems again, the owners wanted to charge me again. When I protested, they said that I did not get my pants altered by them because they use a different type of sewing machine and it obviously wasn't their work. They said without a receipt they could not do anything about it. These people are liars and they are crooks. Do not patronize this place. You will be sorry!!!!
