They do everything they are supposed to and stand behind their work. 2/2/2010

State Roofing just completed a third roofing job for me. I do not even get other bids now or interview other companies because State Roofing is top-notch. Also, their pricing is always fair. I appreciate that there are no surprises with State Roofing. They come and do what they are supposed to do and they know what they are supposed to do. Any material that they have recommended has been standard or above standard. Also, they leave the job site clean afterward. The last job that I had State Roofing do was replace a 2-year-old roof because the person who had originally installed it did not know what they were doing. State Roofing came on Sunday, the only day that the weather allowed, with a team of 9 guys. They tore off the roof, replaced the rotten sheeting, and all of the paper was stapled down when they left at the end of the day. The completed roof looks great. They took care of all of the potential problem areas and the valleys were done well. I recommend State Roofing because they do everything they are supposed to do, in the scheduled time frame, and they stand behind their work. What more could you ask for when it comes to something as structurally important as your roof? Lucy Kelly more

Worked hard to give us a roof that we can be proud of. 10/23/2009

I would like to commend your metal roofing installer, Loren, for an outstanding job. He was very informative, courteous, and worked hard to give us a roof that we can be proud of. He is truly a craftsman. It is nice to see someone these days take pride in his work. On a number of occasions, I would see him come down off the roof and make sure everything lined up properly. The job site was left in the same condition that he found it and he made sure that every scrap of metal and screws were picked up. I speak from experience, as I was a general contractor for quite a few years back in the '70s and '80s, and I appreciate a trustworthy, intelligent, and hardworking person that takes pride in his job. more

Very professional, friendly, and knowledgeable about their product. 10/5/2009

We had State Roofing come out for warranty work on our windows, which they initially installed. They were right on the spot: They came out the very next day after we called them and took care of the problem. Everything turned out beautifully. State Roofing was very professional, friendly, and knowledgeable about their product. We are completely satisfied with the work that they did. more

Professional, hardworking, and personable roofer. 9/28/2009

We had an excellent experience with State Roofing. We had used them about 10 years ago and liked the fact that they were homegrown and had been in business since 1968. We felt that we could trust them to follow through and do a good job. The roofer who worked on our home was excellent. He was so professional, hardworking and personable. He also was on time and, if ever he was going to be later than scheduled, he would let us know. Our roof is the size of a roof that covers 2 houses, so it was a big project. State Roofing did what they said they were going to do and it was no hassle. The timeline also was exactly what they told us it would be. Everything worked out perfectly and we are excited for it to rain now that we have the new roof. Sometimes, it is hard to find people who are as enthusiastic about their job as our roofer was. We would absolutely recommend State Roofing. more

Did what they said they were going to do and cleaned up afterward. 8/31/2009

We decided to use State Roofing because we had heard about them and liked the salesman who came out to our house. Also, the price they gave us for the re-roofing was good. They came out with a whole crew of guys and knocked a lot of the roof off in one day. They came back the next day to finish it up. We are happy with the work they did. There were no problems at all. Ghastly Quote 7/19/2009

Follow the rule of thumb when spending a large amount of money on your home. Get more than one quote. My low quotes ranged from $5,500 to $7,000. State roofing wanted $11,000 - GHASTLY!! We all know they will use the same (unfortunate) illegal alien/off-the street crew for the labor as some of the other roofers. Pros: Showed up on time to estimate the roof Cons: Worst quote out of 4 more

Exceptional Product Professionally Installed 6/25/2009

I used to dred high wind and rain as my old 3 Tab roof was falling apart from the time we move in 18 years ago. I sleep so much better knowing we have a life time roof overhead. I have seen no roofs like our, and have had great comment like "Wow, what a great looking roof, I know where I am going to check first when I am ready for a roof". We have the Euro-Shake Roof and it looks just like we have a real shake roof. Thanks again for a great looking roof. more

Excellent company. I would use them again. 6/11/2009

State Roofing is great. We initially used them for a re-roofing project and they were prompt, efficient and very professional.They did a great job and, if I had any concerns, they were excellent about explaining what was going on. We called them a second time when we had an issue with another roof that they did not install. They came out to look at the roof and said that it would eventually need to be replaced but that we could get a few more years out of it. I appreciated that State Roofing was honest and did not try to sell us a new roof. This showed me that it is not about the money. They are an excellent company to work with. Cora Evans more

Great experience. 5/18/2009

I got an estimate from State Roofing when I was looking for someone to re-do my windows. I was very happy with the salesman who came out and brought windows samples for me to look at. Based on my experience with the salesman, I decided to use State Roofing. I am very happy with the work they did. Also, when I had a little problem with my windows a year later, they came back and fixed it right away. I would recommend State Roofing to people looking for someone to do their windows. Knowledgeable, professional. Excellent work at reasonable price. 5/14/2009

State Roofing re-did our windows about 3 years ago. They replaced our old wood frames and changed out the glass. Since then, we have seen considerable savings on our electric bill. The guys who installed the new windows were great. They were fast, efficient, and they cleaned up after themselves. The quality of work was excellent, very professional. Also, State Roofing has reasonable prices. We recently had them give us a quote to do our roof. The salesman who came out was the same one we met when they did our windows. He was very knowledgeable and friendly. Their sales presentations do not drag on. They are very mindful of our time and able to answer any questions. I would definitely recommend State Roofing. State Roofing replaced our roof. We decided to use them because we saw them at the Home Show and liked the product they were selling. They do outstanding work. Our roof is gorgeous. Shane, who worked on our roof, was a perfectionist. We really wanted this particular product they offer, so even though it was a little more than we wanted to spend, it was worth it. Outstanding work, done with incredible integrity. Top-notch. 5/1/2009

State Roofing called 6 months ago and we were not ready to do the roof at that point. They were patient and did not harass us. When they called back, we set up an appointment to talk with them. The salesman was so good -- he came out to our house and explained everything to us. He made us an offer that we could not refuse. The timing was perfect, and he definitely sold us on it. We had an outstanding experience with State Roofing. It was 5 stars plus because it was beyond our expectations. They dealt with everything with such integrity. For example, the first day, when our roof was taken off, a staple went into one of our electric circuits. The president of State Roofing called us and sent out an electrician, who came and worked for 4 hours. He fixed the problem and State Roofing picked up bill. They stuck to their word. The quality of the product -- our new roof -- is outstanding. Several neighbors have been saying how good it looks. The staff at State Roofing, from the top down to the very last worker, were absolutely top-notch. I would tell someone looking into roofing companies to look at State Roofing for sure. Waaaaaay Overpriced 8/26/2008

I don't know how good of a job these guys do because, thankfully, we didn't get that far. They are waaaaaaaay overpriced. They came out to give us a estimate and they tried to scare us from going with anybody else by telling us things that aren't true. We actually signed some papers because we trusted the guy that gave us the estimate but the more we though about it, the worse we started feeling about it. We got another estimate from a smaller company and it was less than half the cost of State Roofing. Beware. Their salesmen are smooth talkers who say whatever they need to to get you to go with them. They want us to put a deposit down because we told them to put a hold on everything. A deposit??? For what??? To hold our place??? That just turned us off even more. We are staying far away from State Roofing. Pros: None that I know of Cons: Waaaaaay overpriced more

WORST ROOFING EXPERIENCE EVER 4/26/2008

THESE PEOPLE ARE ABSOLUTELY THE WORST. They seem all nice until they have your money and then you better watch out. They lie - Cheat - and don't care about you any more. They don't honor their warranty. They are rude and abnoxious. These guys are wolves in sheep clothing. stay away at all cost. Pros: Don't have any to say. Cons: Dishonest - Warranty is worthless - Had to have someone else do the work they should have more
