Starved Rock Pet Resort is a kennel that lives up to the standards implied by the word "resort." Our doggy suites are large and spacious with indoor/outdoor runs. For your pet's comfort, our resort is equipped with radiant floor heat, air conditioning and tunnel ventilation. Each suite is large enough to accommodate the biggest dogs, comes complete with fresh bedding and daily maid service. Our kitty condos provide a secure, cozy yet spacious environment for even the fussiest of felines.
Our basic boarding is a lot more than basic. Pets in the DOGGY SUITES will awake to the silence of the country and the music of song birds. Quarters are cleaned, fresh bedding is supplied and breakfast is served. Your pet will then enjoy the activities you have selected for their vacation at Starved Rock Pet Resort. After play time and the evening meal is served, your pet will have one on one cuddle time before being tucked in for the night.
We welcome SPECIAL NEEDS PETS. If your pet has a special need, please call and discuss it with our staff. Medications or special diets will be administered by our experienced staff by using the same standard of care that we use with our own family pets.
When it comes to CHOW TIME, we feel it is best that all pets eat exactly what they are accustomed to eating at home. You should bring enough food for your pet?s stay and may even bring water from home. Your pet will dine per your instructions.
We have pickup and delivery PET TAXI service for our clients, with regular service between Utica, Ottawa and Streator. Reservations are required. Call for fares and scheduling.
HEALTH AND SAFETY are important to us. All of your pet?s medical records and special needs are carefully recorded. We live on the premises and have 24 hour on-call veterinary service available to us. We also try to minimize the use of chemicals in your pet?s environment.
