I start every morning at work with a cup of coffee from Starbucks. Now, I know some people frown upon buying coffee at Starbucks -- that whole "if-you-add-up-how-much-you-spend-over-100-years-could-buy-a-car" argument. I see it for what it is: good quality coffee that helps me start my day. It's also a good excuse to stretch my legs and walk down the street to clear my head.
The folks at the counter know exactly what I'm there for and are extremely friendly to boot. Could I brew my own cup at home to save money? Sure. But this is one luxury that's worth the $1.50 each morning.
