My wife and thought we would give it a shot.. The egg roll are store bought (costco)and not fresh... the Lo Mein lacks flavor..the wonton soup was the worst Ive had in a long time...

I like eating here, at least once per week 1/26/2009

not good food 11/2/2008

My wife and thought we would give it a shot.. The egg roll are store bought (costco)and not fresh... the Lo Mein lacks flavor..the wonton soup was the worst Ive had in a long time... My wife ordered shrimp lo mein and when we got home it was chicken instead.. I will not be eating there again..what a waist of $24.. I should have gone to K-Town to get Pho @ Pho 4000 like i normally do.. sure its a hike but its much better then this junk.. I feel jipped more

Healthy, tasty Chinese food at decent prices. All chicken dishes are made with white meat chicken, and everything is super fresh.Great service, quick delivery (most of the time...). My family has been eating here for years, and will continue to do so for years to come! Eat at Star Wok!! Pros: Healthy, tasty Chinese food at decent prices. Best Chinese food in North Hollywood 9/5/2006

I actually really like Star Wok, I am of Chinese decent myself and felt that the Los Angeles City area has been lacking in good Chinese food as I grew up in Rowland Heights, a.k.a. Authentic Chinese Food Central! But anyway, Star Wok really surprised me! The service is 10 times better than typical Chinese resturants - the waitresses are attentive, fast and kind. Good service in a real Chinese joint is rare...trust me. Pros: delicious food, very fast service, attentive servers Cons: small size of resturant, parking is a little difficult during peak hours more

WORST SERVICE EVER! 7/31/2006

DO NOT EAT HERE UNLESS YOU WANT THE WORST SERVICE EVER! WHEN I QUESTIONED THE MANAGER ON WHY MY BILL WAS HIGHER THAN THAT ON THE MENU, SHE RUDELY TOLD ME THAT THEY WERE OLD MENUS, TOOK A QUARTER FROM THE TIP JAR, AND THREW IT IN MY TO-GO BAG. THEN SHE PERSISTED TO ARGUE WITH ME WHEN I TRIED TO GIVE THE QUARTER BACK, PHYSICALLY PUSHING MY HAND AWAY THAT HAD THE QUARTER IN IT. I HAVE NEVER BEEN TREATED SO BADLY AT A RESTAURANT IN MY LIFE. AVOID THIS DUMP AT ALL COSTS! Cons: CRAPPY SERVICE more

Tasty & High-Quality 1/31/2005

This restaurant uses fresh ingredients. The veggies are bright and crisp and the meats are lean and succulent! I would reccommend the won-ton soup, the ha gow, curry chicken, and Mongolian beef. more
