In 1993, after years of working at a local dealership, Gunther Hirschmann opened the doors of Star Motors, Inc.
Gunther saw the need for a smaller, more personalized option for people who needed Mercedes service and repair. Meticulous in nature, Gunther had more to offer customers than what he could provide at the dealership. Ken Kolb joined Gunther in 2003. Both Ken and Gunther made the decision to retire in early 2017 and Joey and Heather Mitchell proudly took ownership. After many years in Alaska and working at a dealership there, Joey realized his passion was offering personalized service and working directly with the vehicle owner. Star Motors provided the perfect atmosphere for him to do just that.
