Stan's Transmission Svc

Terrible..absolutely TERRIBLE customer service and shoddy work. Took my 4WD in for a transmission and when I got it back, my truck wouldn't go into 4WD!!!!! When we called about it, Bob literally screamed and cussed me out...""I know transmissions inside and out!"" The problem? The ""Transmission Expert"" didn't plug the transmission switch back into the transfer case. Do you really know transmissions, Bob, do you really? He can bully anyone he wants...the lack of quality work says it all. Don't go there...seriously...go to Army's in West Homestead or Cottmans in West Mifflin...there are better places (and nicer people) with whom to do business. Transmission work is expensive...patronize a business who appreciate yours. more

Seriously....if you go anywhere near these people you will somehow be ripped off....TRUST ME, I used to work for them....they even ripped ME off, as a employee of them...I could not imagine actually having doing business with them. more

If I could give this guy a negative 10 stars I would. I wish I had seen the review on Oct. 5th before I gave this crook my business. I rented a Uhaul off him which they give you an estimate and then ask for your credit card. He estimated $80 and then billed me $180!!! I tried to get an explanation of the charges and he immediately cops and attitude and tells me ""I did not bill you - Uhaul billed you"". Really, aren't you a business partner of Uhaul since you rent their trucks? Owner says NO. That doesn't even make sense!\r \r He offers me no explanation, not even a partial refund and swears at me on the phone. I told him I would report him to the BBB and he told me to do it and he would sue ME for slander! Worst customer service I have ever received in my life, the man I spoke to was a supervisor. I think this was Bob again, just like in the last negative review. He started swearing at me on the phone and I refused to listen to it so I hung up on him. I am calling Uhaul about the incident as well as the BBB. WORST OF THE WORST - DO NOT GIVE THIS GUY YOUR BUSINESS. more

Used Stan's a couple times, got a quote each time, and the final price was double on all occasions and then he held my vehicle hostage until I paid the additional money! I even tried paying him when I dropped off the vehicle, got a receipt for ""paid in full"", and he still charged me more. I haven't used him in a couple of months, but a friend just told me he had the same thing happen to him, so I figured it wasn't only me, being a female, but everyone! Sooner or later it will catch up to him, and he'll be closing his doors, which would be a public service. I give him an F- Plus, Bob is very rude and has customer service of a manure pile more
