The Stanford Inn overlooks the beautiful Mendocino coast and has those extras that will have you enjoying yourself in no time. The rooms have that comfy, cozy appeal with pine and redwood paneling, a wood-burning fireplace, and great panoramic views of the ocean in addition to their beautiful grounds. I really liked that the Inn has an organic working garden and use some of their produce for the onsite Ravens Restaurant which serves delicious vegetarian cuisine. There is a good-size swimming pool and hot tub in an indoor atrium. Closeby you can find canoes and kayaks available to rent to take on the Big River. This is such a peaceful and romantic setting, and although the prices are not cheap, it's worth it to be pampered in such a relaxing environment.
