Each one is knowlegeable and courteous, and addressed my needs. SLMT is affordable and conveniently located. The front desk staff is accommodating to a variety of schedule requests. I had injured my left hand and was experiencing a lot of pain when in a last ditch attempt for relief I let myself be talked into trying out Standley Lake Massage Therapy. It was very easy to set up an appointment at a time best for me, and had a list of specialised therapists to choose from. As I walked into the office, music was playing softly and a water fountain was tinkling in the corner. There is a selection of tea available along with water and the couches just beg to be sat on. To the left is a small front office where I signed in and waited for my therapist, Mary, to greet me and lead me back to the room. It was very relaxing inside and I liked the atmosphere, the massage bed was quite comfortable and cushy. My massage started on time, with Mary asking keen questions on what I was experiencing and explaining various options of what could be done to help. Her technique was amazing. She started with a oil rub and then the massage. It was just perfect, without causing additional pain. Later on I have gone in for Lymph-node Drainage and recieved the same excellent treatment as the first time. I highly recommend this massage therapy clinic and will go back for more. I'll make a bet. I'll wager that 95% of the pain you live with can be remedied in a few short, very relaxing, massage sessions. I lived with a chronic pain in my hips for over a year. After visiting a dozen different massage therapists (who shouldn't be allowed to service), several acclaimed chiropractors, and finally a visit to my physician, I found Standley Lake Massage Therapy. They told me I might feel uncomfortable after the treatments, (I did) and that the time for recovery would be around 6 week. After three sessions I noticed a huge difference in my ability to walk again. After the agreed 6 visits, I had to pinch myself to see if I was alive, because I couldn't even remember how bad I had felt prior to my therapy. I now enjoy golf more than ever.
