Great Interstate Movers 2/16/2011

I would like to let everybody know how happy we are after we moved using Stairhopper Movers. We had to move our 4 bedroom house from New York to Boston and from the first contact I had with them I felt I was in good hands. I took a few quotes from other reputable moving companies in Boston area but the Stairhoppers quote was unbeatable. Christine was our relocation coordinator at Stairhopper Movers and she was very patient with me and my wife during the pick up, move and delivery, her responses to all our questions were fast and clear. \r We had a big move with expensive furniture, antiques pieces and fragile stuff. Our 4 movers crew/2 trucks packed everything the day before and moved us next day. Jaime, Mike, Rene and Joe were very polite, organized, fast and very knowledgeable. They were making sure everything it's wrapped before it leaves our house. They showed up when they said they would, delivered everything very quickly and the most important thing at the end, we had the pleasant surprise to see that the total cost came fortunately under the original quote considering that we probably had more stuff than initially planned. We had a stress free move, we had great movers working for us, a pleasure to have them around. Finally, I believe we got a real deal and a great moving company! more

Professional movers! 1/16/2011

We hired Stairhopper Movers for a move from Boston to Somerville at the end of December and I was very pleased with their work. They arrived on time and soon after we showed them what needs to be moved they start getting all the boxes out of the house and wrapping furniture. They took great care of our 2 leather couches and antique bedroom set. I was very impressed with their professionalism and responsiveness to our requests. Highly recommended to all our friends and family. more

Great Boston to New York movers 1/11/2011

Since I've used Stairhopper Movers before I hired them again for a interstate move from Boston to Long Island City, New York. I hired a crew of 3 men just like I had last time. They came the day before and fully packed our 2 bedroom apartment and the next day they did the actual move. Everything was wrapped, inventoried and loaded in the truck in less than 2 1/2 hours. At the drop off they had some challenges with our huge and heavy armoir and leather couch but they manage to get them up without any damages. Again, I had a great experience using these movers. I highly recommend them to anybody that it's looking to move in Boston or out of state. more

Professional and reliable moving company 1/11/2011

I have moved three times in the last five years, and used different moving companies for each move. I can say without hesitation that Stairhoppers is by far the most professional and reliable company I have used. My last move was with Gentle Giant, who generally gets great reviews, but Stairhoppers blows Gentle out of the water. \r \r Gentle treated me in an unprofessional fashion that bordered on unethical (despite the fact that I was a repeat customer). Stairhoppers was the exact opposite---professional, reliable and with a focus on customer service.\r \r Use Stairhopper Movers---you will not regret it!\r more

Best movers around! 11/18/2010

Stairhopper Movers were the best. A great crew of 3 arrived and made quick work of loading my overloaded apartment. They were incredibly polite and kind considering part of me and the apartment were not ready. Never once, at the pick up or the set up at the other end did I feel they were slacking off. They literally ran up and down stairs until the job was complete. I would recommend them to anyone planning a move. more

Efficient movers! 9/25/2010

Stairhopper Movers moved us from Acton to Watertown at the beginning of September. Their service it's incredible. Very attentive and professional, with really great movers and very affordable rates, they definitely make a difference. I used several moving companies but so far they are the best movers around and I am planning to use them again if need it. I recommend them to all my friends and family. more

Great, affordable and honest movers! 9/19/2010

We hired Stairhopper Movers last week for a move from Back Bay to Arlington. Our 3rd floor 2 bedroom apartment with lots and lost of boxes and furniture was moved to our new house in less than 5h as they initially said so they came right on the money with the estimate. We were also very impressed with their professionalism and their service. On time, fast and friendly they lived up to our expectations. Everything arrived our our new house in Arlington in a prefect shape as they were very careful all the way and wrapped everything in quilted pads. They even covered the floors to keep them safe. It doesn't get better than this. Totally recommended. more

Hard working movers! 2/15/2010

We used Stairhopper Movers last Saturday and I would like to let everybody know how happy we were with their services. Being very professional from the beginning till the end, very friendly and attentive to all our requests, Stairhopper Movers definitely made our move less stressful and why not, a pleasant experience if moving can be called that way. My husband and I were very impressed how hard there guys were working and how fast in the same time. Extraordinary moving experience! 1/26/2010

Everybody knows that moving it's very stressful and cumulate with some bad moving experiences in the past I was very precocious before hiring movers this time considering I was relocating from New York to Boston. I start looking on the Boston market for movers and I came across Stairhopper Movers. They were very nice starting with the first phone call and guiding me through the entire moving process. I hired them for my move because I felt very confident that my move will be a successful one. Another reason that made me chose them was the very competitive rate. On the moving day, 3 strong clean guys showed up at my door in Manhattan and quickly start working. After watching them working for 15 min, I felt once again safe and confident regarding my decision of hiring them. 2.5 h later, our 3 bedroom apartment was wrapped in blankets, loaded and on his way to Boston. Everything got offloaded in even less time once they arrived at our new condo on Newbury Street. Our bed and desk got assembled free of charge and they even helped us rearrange the furniture in the apartment. The most important thing it's that our belongings arrived to Boston without any damages, no dents, no scratches and in a record time. Definitely this is the best moving experience I ever had and I would recommend them to all my new Boston coworkers and friends. Thank you guys. You did an amazing job! Amazing movers, great services 12/22/2009

These guys were amazing 3 days ago when they move us from Somerville to Quincy. Arrived on time and right after the quick tour of our house they start passing boxes and wrapping furniture as soon as those were gone. I was very impressed how quick and professional these guys were. 4 hours later everything was delivered without any scratches or dents. Andrew, Jaime, James were friendly and professional. If you are planning to move, definitely Stairhopper Movers it's a local company that I would strongly recommend. For sure, I'm not interested in searching for other movers for my future moves. Great movers with very affordable rates 12/9/2009

We used Stairhopper Movers for a local move from Boston to Arlington at beginning of December. Everything went as smooth as possible considering the bad weather that we had on that day. The movers arrived on time and as soon as we gave them a tour of the house they start working. Our furniture was wrapped and protected with blankets and everything that we have was loaded in less than 2 hours. Considering it was coming from a 4th floor walk up, that was impressive! With very affordable rates, the entire job took 4h and the total came under our budget for this move. Great! We couldn't ask for better movers and for a better moving experience! Best movers in Boston 12/1/2009

By far, the best moving experience I've had. On time, polite and professional, these guys moved my 2 bedroom apartment from Back Bay to Somerville in less than 5 hours like they estimated initially. With very affordable rates the bill came under the estimate that I received from the office, thanks to the hardworking guys send to perform my move (Andrew, Jaime and James). Satisfaction guaranteed 10/15/2009

Professional, on time, friendly movers, definitely recommended. My husband and I hired them to move our 2 bedroom house last weekend to a storage facility, since our new house was not quite ready to move in. They used dollies, blankets and at the end, I didn't see any extra charges on the bill for any of those. Long distance move, a great experience 9/23/2009

I just used these guys to move from Boston to upstate New York and all I can say it's that I was very impressed the way they worked and handled my move. On time for pick up, on time for delivery, nothing was damaged since they were careful enough to cover all my stuff with blankets before loading (unlike other movers that I used before). Professional and friendly staff will describe them perfectly. Definitely recommended if you are looking for a long distance mover and I'm assuming locally they do a great job as well. I have to say that moving with them was a pleasant experience. They came highly recommended by one of my friends. I booked them for September 5th to move my 2 bedroom apartment from a 3rd floor walk up to a townhouse in Cambridge. I'm very pleased the way my moved occurred. On time, carefully with my artwork and not only but fast in the same time, Joe, Tito and Rene provided professional moving services in a very friendly and fun way. They moved me 2 days ago from North End to Somerville and they did a really great job. Fast and secure, everything was out of my 1 bedroom apartment in 1 hour. I couldn't believe how fast they were loading all my things. Same time, they were polite and very attentive to my needs. I didn't stress too much after I saw how this guys were handling my stuff and how fast they were doing it. Definitely worth it to have them as your movers and definitely recommended.
