I finally got my memorial tattoo at Stainless and it came out better than I dreamed it would be. Although Chris is very busy he got me in within a reasonable timeframe. I was almost in tears when I saw the completed piece!!! I will always go back! more

I walked i n and the moment i did i was greeted by friendly staff. The place was very clean and everything was neat. I got an eyebrow piercing and i LOVED it. I recommend you let Joe pierce you, because he did mine and it was the best. You will really love it. They used new equipment and where very safe right from the beginning. I have a lot of work done from around the country as I have lived many different places and this is by far one of the best that I have found. I have a sleeve in progress that needed some serious work and Chris totally cleaned it up and made it look amazing. This is where I will be going from now on and sending all my friends to. Not only do they do great work but are extremely personable, most shops either ignore you or talk down to you upon entering but these guys are super friendly and a good time! more

I came into Stainless Studios and felt like I was in a movie. Not only because of how funny they are but also the talent. These guys are so much fun and also extremely talented. This is not your every day tattoo parlor, these guys do amazing work! They do other things as well but they do custom tattoos that look incredible. These artists are awesome and do great work. I went here because someone recommended it to me. Looking through the portfolios I felt I was in good hands. I've been here twice for ink. I never look at my tattoos and say ""Dang, I wish I would've went somewhere else."" I've received compliments on the ink job and have had friends want to come with me so they can get work done too. The guys are friendly and real cool so it made the experience more comfortable and better. more

I had gotten 3 of my tattoos (including my first) in Tulsa, OK... I was disappointed with all three of them, the quality and the service at those places was sub par to say the least. I found this place online and looked through some of the work done by Rob (owner) and decided to contact him with an idea that I had, he responded and we talked about what I had in mind for my next tattoo and he was able to draw up something even better than what I pictured. That is still my favorite one right now. I will definitely be going here any time I want more tattoos and I recommend him to anyone that asks. Proceeds of the auction will be donated to the North Texas Food Bank. The art show will be June 19, 2010, starting at 12 pm, at Stainless Studios, 1902 Greenville Avenue. “We want to celebrate our successful first year and give back to our community,” says Rob Holland, Stainless Studios' owner. “The North Texas Food Bank provides a valuable service and helps many families in need, and we want to support them.” All proceeds from the silent auction art show will be donated to the North Texas Food Bank. In addition to the art show, there will be food, drinks and music from DJ's Nemeses and Fishr Pryce. The art will be provided by artists from the tattoo and street art communities. I have 2 tattoos by this studio. Rob has done both of them. The first was done awhile ago and still looks great. I never really know what I'm looking for, but I give him a general idea and let him run with it. I have not and don't think I will ever be disappointed with any of his decisions or artwork. I have three tattoos by Rob Holland, the owner of Stainless, and each one has been more amazing than the last. The most recent endeavor has been to begin work on a large backpiece. Having had Rob tattoo me before, I knew and trusted his skills both in creating the artwork as well as the actual work itself. With little guidance needed, he sketched my original stencil. Needless to say, I was blown away! When he began his actual work, he was understanding and supportive when reaching painful parts. He truly does have a delicate touch. And despite odd sensitivities on my part, he worked with me to get the work done. In just five short hours, we had done a full outline and started the color work. The colors are vibrant, the lines straight and clear and the shading smoothly done. Rob also did some art for my husband. Working with one of his employees, he created an amazing piece of art. He creates a good relationship with his clients and keeps them entertained in the process. Pros: Great attitudes, great artwork Cons: Not enough time in the day or skin to tattoo!! more

I was looking for a place to get some work done in the Dallas area. A friend told me there are a few shows in lower Greenville I should go check out. The first one I went to seemed nice but they didn't seem to care about what I wanted to get done. It felt like they just wanted me to get the tattoo and get out. \r \r So I went over to Stainless across the street. As soon as I walked in the front door I knew I liked it better then the other shop. They had a lot of cool art they did on the walls and didn't have a ton of flash. And I really liked how one side of the shop was the lobby area and when you walk into the other half of the shop it feels completely different.\r \r I talked to Rob about what I wanted to get and he had a lot of good ideas on how to get it done how I wanted ti and look great at the same time. Some of the other guys that work there helped out as well. You can tell that they are all really into making tattoos look the best that they can and not just in it for the money.\r \r It was a lot of fun getting my tattoo at Stainless. All the guys there are great. As long as I'm in Dallas I wont be going to another shop to get work done. Pros: Everyone there was really helpful Cons: None that I can think of more

I went to Stainless Studios while on vacation to visit some friends in Dallas. Having several pieces already and wanting another one, my friends recommended I go check out Stainless and a guy named Rob Holland (who I later found out was the owner). As soon as I walked in, I knew this would be an awesome experience! You walk in the saloon style stainless steel double doors and are greeted by a 12 foot statue of the entire staff replaying the planting of the flag on Iwo Jima. I knew this was a more like a family than a group of co-workers. I wasn't sure what I wanted, but after seeing the work I had already, Rob and, as he calls them, his ""Brain Trust"" quickly had several ideas for what to get. Each member of this artistic lineage had input on how to make my tattoo look the absolute best. The only way I could possibly describe the fluidity of this chaotic orchestra: ""They formed like Voltron!"" After deciding on what I wanted (A large Demon Rabbit coming out of a top hat on my lower back) Rob set to work and began what is, usually the painful process of inking me up. To my surprise, Rob (a 6'5"" 360 lb guy) has a Very delicate touch. The entire process from start to finish took roughly 4 hours. All of which was a fantastic experience!!! I highly recommend them to anyone who wants an awesome tattoo!!! Pros: Clean facilities, friendly atmosphere, AWESOME artists! Cons: You only have so much skin for them to work on!! more
