My Syrian hamster Hamilton got unending hiccups and had an emergency visit to Stafford Vet. They were loving and the vet examined him so gently and thoroughly. Hamilton had a blockage and died 2 days later. I was content to have peace of mind and assurance from the vet that he could not be saved and that the blockage was not my fault. I recieved wonderful compassionate care. Hamilton died Good Friday 2009. I reccommend these vets and staff. more

I think stafford vet hosp is WAY too expensive. Most of the doctors rush their exams and the staff does not seem very helpful. The nurse tried to get blood from my dog 3-4 times unsucessfully until she finally gave up. I waited another ten minutes for her to find another nurse but she could not locate one so the doctor finally came in. For these prices they charge they should have a trained staff. Each time I go there I see new people, which means they dont keep staff there long. Very disapointed and I will be using someone else. name withheld more

Disappointed and devastated over irrisponsible veternarian and staff 11/26/2007

I was disappointed with the way my shiatsu Vinny was allowed to die. I brought Vinny to Stafford for routine stone surgery. I was assured of Vinny's recovery. Vinny had been to Stafford three months earlier, and received a clean bill of health. I brought Vinny in on a Thursday morning at 8:30 am. for his surgery. The vet who performed the surgery called me about 11:30 am and told me my Vinny was in recovery and doing fine, except for some blood clots when he urinated. the vet said that was normal and not to worry. He told me to come Friday morning and pick up Vinny.I gave my home phone, and cell phone to the vet and his staff. Approximately 11:00 pm, i get a call from the vet telling me my Vinny had blood complications and passed away. My wife and i were devastated and i told the vet i wanted to speak to him in the morning. I met the vet at 8:30 am Friday.I asked why i wasn't called while my Vinny was slowly dying. very caring 7/1/2007

i had to put my long time pet down and they were so caring and compassionate. i now have a 'new' dog and they have been very helpful. he seems to be allergic to something and it has been very frustrating but dr. nuzzi there has been wonderful. he really cares about your pets and i'm pretty sure he is onto what's wrong with my dog because he finally stopped itching so bad. dr. nuzzi has called me from his home on his day off to see how things were going. the staff calls you back. it's great. i was using a different vet hospital in barnegat until they put one of my dogs down but it was a terrible experience with them. i switched and am i glad. more

Terrific Service 10/1/2005

The vets here really care about your animals and you. If you have an emergency situation they get you in quickly. If you are waiting too long because of someone elses emergency they will offer to reschedule and do what they can to make things easier. If faced with a difficult decision regarding your pet the vets are comforting and offer whatever help you need. The office staff is very professional and courteous. more
