AWESOME!! 2/27/2003

I was a resident of Bellville IL for 3 yrs, and my family and I spent many wonderful days at the St Louis Science Center. So Much to do there, and fun for Kids and Adults alike. I have travelled all over our country and have been to most of the large cities, but St Louis MO, is I and my families favorite large city. The zoo is too good to believe, and Grants Farm is a blast! Good Job, St Louis, stay as good as you are. And most of all, a majority of the excellent facilities are FREE!!! Pros: parking, cost, size Cons: none, none, none more

something for everyone 10/4/2002

Since they built the Science Center I have been there countless times. They have changed exhibits around, the planetarium (which is connected) has been remodeled and they built a new dome which has good exhibits. I really enjoy the Omnimax theater. The movies are always really good. we saw an interesting titanic exhibit last year. again, you can park for free on the street somewhere or in forest park. lots of hands on stuff. we never get enough time in one day to look at everything. Pros: variety, cheap, interesting more

So much to do 8/18/2002

There is so much to do here that is absolutely free. Now you can catch one of the shows or demos, and there is a fee, but you can go, not spend a dime, and have a fabulous adventure. more

Year Round Educational Fun 8/14/2002

While the St. Louis Zoo gets my vote for Best Attraction, the Science Center wins, for me, as best Family Outing. This is solely because while, like the Zoo, it's open year round...it is also indoors. That makes for all weather family fun!! The Omnimax Theatre is wonderful, and I couldn't imagine having more fun learning! Pros: It's free, Ominimax is great, Informative & Fun more

Fun for all ages 8/11/2002

The Science Center is great fun for all ages. There are plenty of interesting things to learn and play with. Lots of hands on experiments to try and they almost all are usually in working order. The movies cost money as do some of the special exhibits, but there are plenty of free things to do if you don't want to spend a dime. The snack bar cost a small fortune, I advise skipping that altogether. Try going in the late afternoon to avoid the school field trips. Pros: All Ages, Ample Parking, Free more
