St. Francis Veterinary Hospital is the only place that I will ever go to treat my two dogs. Dr. Randal and his staff are so attentive and compassionate when it comes to animals. My 11 yr old dog, Elsa, had to go through 2 MAJOR surgeries. The second time was emergency surgery that had to be performed when my dog had what is commonly called ""the bloat"" and that is very common in large breed dogs. If it was not corrected--and quickly--she would have died. She came out of that with flying colors thanks to Dr. Randal and everyone else that oversaw her procedure. I was so distraught about the whole thing but, after the her surgery Dr. Randal took me back to the operating room and patiently explained everything that he had to do to her as well at answer any questions that I had at the time. I never once felt rushed when asking questions like I had before at the other Vet that I use to bring her to for treatment. He truly went above and beyond in my opinion. During her recovery he even called me on weekends to check up on her progress--which, let's face it...not many doctors would do in their personal time.To me, that meant the world. I feel confident and reassured when I know my dogs are in their care. I have become a familiar face amongst the St. Francis staff and am always greeted with a smile. You just can't find this kind of dedication and professionalism in other places like you can at St. Francis! Cudos to you SFVH! more

They do not know the proper techniques of heartworm treatment. They KILLED my dog..the heartworms did not!! more

I have been going to St.Francis Vet Clinic for years and they have always helped me save on cost, gave the best customer service and care for my pets. Dr. Randal and Dr. Lyons have always treated me with respect and gave me detailed information for what they were doing for my pet in office. They answer any questions I have and take the time to explain and any concerns I may have on medications and treatment for my pet. I highly recommend this office for your pet needs. more

I recently had to put my beloved Pitbull, who was my BEST FRIEND EVER in this ENTIRE WORLD (his name was Romeo) to sleep. Romeo had Cancer and recently took a sudden drastic turn for the worst. I couldn't bear to watch/allow my best friend [who'd been with me for 1/3 of my lifetime, and some of the ROUGHEST years of my life no less] to suffer...I knew I had to do something. I looked online and the Humane Society recommended St. Francis for this kind of situation...boy were they on-point with their recommendation! From start to finish, everyone was SO compassionate and empathetic. The vet, Dr. Lyons, offered GENUINE condolences before she said ANYTHING else to me. I mean, it blew me away! Each person sweetly and gently and thoroughly explained every single thing that would take place before it did and even walked me through it AS it was taking place. I elected to stay with Romeo until the end. Dr. Lyons was a-MAZING...SO kind, gentle, compassionate and empathetic - walking me through everything, step by step. When it was over, they gave me all the time I needed with Romeo. I sit here in tears as I type this. I received a beautiful, personal card from St. Francis is the mail today, just offering condolences. It was personally signed by the whole staff. I'm just blown away by how they handled everything. I HIGHLY recommend this vet! They made the HARDEST thing I have EVER had to do in my en-TIRE LIFE as easy and as tolerable as it possibly COULD be, considering the circumstances. I first met Dr. Lyons and Dr. Randall when I brought them my peekapoo, Sydney, who had been diagnosed with multilobular tumor. She was terminal at the time, and they eased me through her last stages with great sensitivity and compassion. I was so grateful to have found them after many terribly difficult and disappointing experiences with her previous medical care. Dr. Lyons and Dr. Randall are wonderful vets, the very best as far as I am concerned. I would not trust my pets to anyone else. They currently treat my three furry family members.
