(Wednesday, Dec 16); NIGHTMARE Sprint store at 88th and Sheridan. \r
I stopped in this past weekend because my texts weren't coming through on my phone. The store's system was down and they were unable to help anyone , so I came in again tonight at about 5:10 (only a few customers in the store) and was directed to a sullen tech who didn't know how to fix my phone so he added my name to the queue to be assisted by a sales rep since I expressed an interest in trading in my phone.\r
\r
During the hour and ten minutes I endured your store, at times there were up to 11 customers in the store (some left), and only two sales reps, the sullen tech guy, a guy behind the back counter (no idea what his job was as he didn't assist anyone) and the assistant store manager who answered customer questions on the floor until 5:50 and then hung out at the back with the guy behind the counter until 6:00 when she left the store with eight customers who still had not been assisted. \r
\r
At around 6:10 the guy behind the counter sauntered up front and started logging customers into the queue. I asked him if he actually help the customers or just sign them in. He said his job was to ""help"" the customers by checking them in and answering questions, yet he hadn't helped anyone the entire time I was there. After I complained, he wandered over to ""help"" a customer who was looking at phone accessories. In the meantime, neither of the sales reps said anything to the customers to acknowledge the terrible service delay or to give us some idea of what was taking so long and whether we should come back another time. So we all just stood there waiting...At 6:21 p.m. one of the sales reps wrapped up with a couple who had arrived just shortly after I did (an hour and ten minutes earlier), and they called my name! By that time, I was so frustrated and angry with the poor customer service that I walked out without actually talking to the sales rep. I left behind at least ten customers, many of whom had been waiting for between half an hour to an hour with no acknowledgement from the staff.\r
\r
So here is what you have. Two sales reps who worked with the same people for over an hour, an assistant store manager who was answering questions but left early to hang out at the back counter with a guy who didn't do anything to assist anyone, and a sullen tech who didn't help me, and only worked with two other people the entire time I was there. \r
\r
You might want to reconsider your staffing and teach your staff some common respect for their customers. You might get some repeat business. I will never step foot in your store again, and I will be sure to warn others away as well.
