It's more than just coffee. Spot is where it's at on Elmwood. The ambiance is relaxed yet fun. It's a great place to see people and meet with friends.

Spot is a nice local coffee shop. When I lived on Elmwood Avenue I would be here all the time. The staff here is friendly and really interacts well with their customer base. This place is more than just coffee, they also have some nice small plate options: salads, soup and sandwiches. more

Too bad it isnt located near the UB campus. Spot offers a wide variety of coffee, which have great taste too. Also the environment is great. One of my favorite places to study or hang out. If it wasnt out of my way, I would go there more often more

This place is a nice option for coffee in the area. They brew some nice coffee, the product here is never overcooked or roasted. They also have some little food options like sandwiches and soup. All the items I’ve had here have tasted great. This coffee house / café is a wonderful asset to this region. more

I’m a big fan of Spot Coffee. This a wonderful place to go. I sometimes come here alone or with friends. This is more than a coffee shop. They have some great sandwich and soup options here too. The food here is so quickly prepared and they taste great. This place is so much better than Satrbucks. more

Overrated 4/4/2006

I’m not a big fan of Spot Coffee. I don’t understand why some people really like this coffee shop. It is not bad, but it also is not great. The beverages prepared here are quality and the food served here is decent. But nothing I’ve ever had here blows me a away. The ambiance is nice but it is sometimes a little obnoxious in this place. more

This is a nice place to get a cup of coffee. The atmosphere in here is great. This is a locally owned shop that really cares about their customers. I like coming here with friends for a beverage and some tasty treats. You can order sandwiches, pastries and cookies here. They go really well with their tasty coffee. more

Nice Place to Relax 4/1/2006

If your goal is to grab a cup of coffee and relax in a laid back coffee shop this is the place for you. The environment here is just very soothing and relaxing with a good mix of employees and patrons. If you feel like chatting with a friend or someone who is there you should really check this place out. The pricing is normal for most coffee shops but its location helps. It is on Elmwood which puts it near Buffalo State College and the Elmwood strip. more

This place is a wonderful place to relax. The people that come here are great. They really add to the great vibe of this establishment. The staff also rocks, they are so friendly and professional. I love coming here also because they have some great coffee and have some healthy dining options. The sandwiches here are great. more

I love to go to this place with friends. They have a great variety of coffee types to choose from, they even have tea. The cashiers are really friendly and the service is good too. You order and they have you sit down. They call you back up when they are finished making your drink. They have cakes and cookies to buy if you have a sweet tooth too! This place has tables and also couches to sit and enjoy your friends and coffee. more

Spot coffee is in a great location. Nice if you want to go downtown for an evening. If you want to have a big affair you can rent the back room. I love the coffee, the dessert's and the atmosphere. My friend had a party there and the cannolis were to die for. Excellent place to enjoy a great cup of coffee. Many kinds to choose from. It's a Great Coffee Shop. more

An Excellent Cafe 8/19/2005

SPot, in many ways has become a Buffalo institution. It is a very hip coffee shop offering an excellent cup of coffee, a variety of coffee drinks, excellent sandwiches and desserts. A very busy place, the sandwiches sometimes take a while to prepare. A nice patio overlooking the most active part of Elmwood Avenue. A must stop for any visit to the city. Also offers a larger location downtown. more
