Only hot air will blow through their vents. Try that on for size during the summer months. They claim to have someone fixing the ac unit, but seriously.... After several months, you would think that the repair folks would suggest a new unit? \r \r If you join Sport and Health in Herndon (Worldgate), be prepared for working out in the third world. I race to my car after a work out so that I can finally cool off as I drip in my nice clothes back to the workplace.\r \r These guys are definitely penny pinchers and don't care about your comfort. I will muddle through my contract, but I want to let everyone know to not even sign up. You will regret it. more

""We are working on getting the air conditioning fixed"" has been the phrase for the last 7 weeks. In the meantime, the air is humid and extremely hot. The bathroom floors are wet and it's hard to even change back into your work clothes in a sauna.\r \r The management does not take action; even patrons who have defended them now say that management doesn't care.\r \r I will be shopping for another gym and am greatly disappointed to see their apathy. DON'T SIGN UP FOR THIS GYM!!!!!!! This is the most poorly run gym company I've ever encountered. The management is an absolute joke. It is full of shysters. They get you to sign up by telling you they have a 30 day trial period and if you aren't satisfied, you can opt out. What they fail to verbally tell you is that you MUST visit the gym AT LEAST 12 days (not times) in order to opt out after 30 days. What kind of trial period is that? It isn't one. It is in the contract, but it's the very last item. I have been trying for 3 months to speak with their membership manager and he has repeatedly ignored all of my emails and voicemails. If I am forced to be a member of this gym, they could at least address my complaints. But they don't. Apparently they need my $70/month that badly, which is very sad. Oh, and I haven't yet mentioned how crappy their gym equipment is. They only have ratty old mats to stretch on - they are worn and falling apart. And they just allow members children to run around the gym. Seriously save your money and go to any gym but this one. You won't be treated with any respect and you will be forced to use old, dingy equipment. more
