Now for the final straw. I have just returned from the same location and happened to have my hair fixed by Dee. (it is january 27th, 2011) Dee did not even look me in the eyes when I was explaining the situation. That is an obvious sign of disrespect and nonsincerity by someone of whom is supposed to be working in the customer service field. Dee was pleasant for the most part despite the obvious connection that she had as friends with Kimberly. The other girl just kept her mouth shut the whole time. Dee halfway listened to what I was saying and payed more attention to my fiancee of whom was there to make sure I received the right cut this time besides being my second pair of eyes. I brought up the subject matter of my complaint a few times numbering in about six or seven times while I had my experience with Dee. Dee was showing signs of being evasive in understanding my situation with what was going on. She was showing signs of contempt, and an overall unappreciation of hearing what I had to say. None of this, and even this negative review would have happened if everyone would have done what they were supposed to do as their mantra says by their very own cash register. I will never return to Sportsclips in my entire life and I will always trash talk this company based upon my experience and what others may experience in the future. From what I understand, this business is owned through franchise like a Mcdonalds or Supercuts. If this is the experience that I am to receive from this location, this is the general experience that I am to expect from the rest of the franchise in customer logic. If you want a seven dollar haircut by yappity women who go on about subject matter that is not conducive to a men's haircut environment while paying nineteen dollars or more on top of the tip, then this is the right place for you! If you want to feel like a chump when you leave a place because you are too nice to put a foot up someone's ass today, then this is the place for you! more

The subject matter did eventually change to yet another bullsh*t conversation with her workmates and yet another man sitting right next to me. The subject somehow got into how her son was abducted and she kept going on and on while I am trying to get a word in edge wise to not only tell her how I need my hair cut, because she never filled out a profile card as she said she would the last time, but also to at least acknowledge what she kept going on and on about while pretty much ignoring her customer as I am generally a calm and understanding person. The whole time that I was there which was significantly shorter by at least three quarters the time I was there before, equalling about a timeframe of five minutes or so of actual cutting, it was all about her and the drama that she kept going on about. Besides the drama she was really hyped up about moving into her new home with her fiancee. She went on and on about not being able to wait until she got home in two hours. Before I even knew it, the haircutting session was overwith and she was asking me if the haircut was fine. I answered yes, and just left because this lady and the rest of the women working there were really annoying at that time and I just did not want to express myself as maybe I should have and ruined their entire week. (You can't really tell if anything is wrong right away when your hair is still wet directly after the haircut) ""Men, and I am speaking to the real men out there of whom are not submissive sheep. This is not the place you want to go to if your just wanting a drama free hair cutting experience."" When I returned home, my fiancee made a comment about how fast it was that I got my haircut. She also made comments of how it didnt look like much was done with my hair and she also noticed that the style was altered from what it was before I went in to get my hair cut. During shower time I also became aware of just how little work was done to my hair because I was able to feel it while shampooing my hair. The length of hair was definitely unacceptable as compared to the first experience that I had at this location from Kimberly. It was just plain out all wrong and I sat and stewed on it for approximately five days until my fiancee went in with me to have it corrected. (I don't like drama) more

Women and Drama in a men's environment? 1/27/2011

I have just returned from an experience at sportsclips to compound upon the frustrating experience of the last haircut that I received. To start with the story: I received my initial haircut by Kimberly of whom happens to be the manager of the business at this particular location. The atmosphere was calm and Kimberly was able to focus on my haircut. Everything was fine besides the incesant amount of talking that she happened display to which didn't seem to get in the way too much. She claimed to have started a profile card and I went home a satisfied customer with my haircut. Pleased with my first haircut experience aside from the excess amount of chatter that emitted from Kimberly, I returned to the establishment to get my hair cut again. As soon as I arrived through the front door the very strong odor of cheese and food was in the air. I had to wait for Kimberly to come out of the back room as she was finishing up her food. Waiting for her to come out from the back room was not the issue though. Kimberly was pleasant in her demeanor and greeted me politely when she finally made it out of the back room. She had me sit down to get the hair cut and this is where my story gets merit. She immediately started in on a conversation with two of her workmates about drama. I tried to get in a word edge wise about the main purpose of why I was there, to get a decent haircut by someone who would be conscientious enough to listen to their paying customer. She kept going on with her obnoctiously loud almost manly voice on subject matters that were not conducive to being at a men's hair shop. The whole time that I was there for the EXPERIENCE it was a conversation between Her, Dee, and the fat one. She kept going on and on about certain men and their demeanor towards her that apparently made her feel very uncomfortable that dealt with sexual harrassment in nature. I don't want to go into details and make this personal, but that kind of sh*t is not what a man wants to be listening to when they arrive for a haircut. Strong man hating language is not preferred by men who are there to get business done and not listen to women in a men's environment speaking about dramarama. more
