Please accept our heartfelt thanks to you and your staff for providing the Jenkins Family with a reunion of the highest caliber. We especially want to thank Miriam for her terrific, hands on approach to our reunion. Absolutely anything the Jenkins Family requested, Miriam provided with a smile and for that we are eternally grateful. Other staff members as well, Stephanie was extremely professional, Elijah was so accommodating, even right down to Jessica and your executive Chef who sustained us at the Bar-B-Que. Please thank them individually for us. Laura, many family members expressed their gratitude and appreciation and hailed this reunion a raging success! Yes, we will return; but until then Split Rock and the 28th Jenkins Family Reunion will hold a special place in our hearts . more

Split Rock Resort is a real experience in relaxation! It has more amenities than any other resort I've visited and the staff is absolutely #1 in attitude and service. Split Rock is a city within itself offering the latest movies at the Theater, restaurant and pizza parlor, new and great H2O000HH waterpark, all kinds of sports activities (including bowling), miniature and regular golf, planned and independent activities/games, indoor and outdoor pools, hot tubs, and live entertainment, karaoke and fun in the evening. Its location in the heart of the Poconos is also in close proximity to the new casino at Mt. Airy. I have been vacationing for the last 15 years in resorts from NH to FL and PA to AZ utilizing 4 timeshares (luckily 1 is Willowbrook @ Split Rock) and have yet to experience any that can compare to Split Rock. The only thing that I didn't like is that the 2 beautiful and scenic hot tubs on the 2nd floor are not in use; however, there are still 2 (1 by the Galleria indoor pool and 1 @ the Lodge. If you plan to visit, be sure to request an exchange ASAP because the availability is very limited. more

Just came home after a week or having a great time. We didn't want to come home.Can't wait to go again in 2011.Any one who rates this place bad doesn't know how to have a good time. We have been to many other resorts but rate this one the best. more

Let me start by saying that I arrived at the resort on Tuesday, July 27, 2010 approximately 3:45 P.M. I was at the hotel for the summer conference for the County Detectives Assocaition of Pennsylvania. We checked into our room 3101B, Willowbrook. The room was extremely clean and there was lots of room. The unit had a living room with a pull out bed, two couches, flat screen TV, kitchen, and island with four chairs. The bedroom was very large and the bed very comfortable. The bathroom was large as well and included plenty of space plus the tub was a hot tube. My daughter & I had a great experience from the time we checked in. On Tuesday night, we have dinner at Bel'lago Restaruant. The meal was outstanding, the portion size was huge and the price very reasonable. The service was top notch. On Wednesday, we had breakfast at the main hotel which was very cheap and the food good. In the afternoon, went to the H2000 Indoor Water Park. Let me begin with the price was around $35.00 and well worth it. While in the waterpark, my daughter & I had lunch. We had two hotdogs, nachos and two soda's for $8.75. Once again, the food was great. We had a splash at the waterpark! Wednesday night dinner, we had a chicken barbecue, corn on the cob, roast beef, hamburgs, hot dogs, salad, and great desserts on the deck of Bel'lago. Prior to and after dinner, there was a live band playing. It was truly well planned and a great time was had by all who attended. Thursday night, we had dinner at Galleria Restaurant and the food was excellent and the price was right. I would recommend any family or business to spend time at Split Rock and have a great experience as our group and family did. Two thumbs up!! more

Thank you for helping us put together a great conference. The breakfasts, lunches, breaks and Tuesday dinner were fabulous. Everyone commented on how much food they had and how good it was more

I just wanted to say that our group had a great time at Split Rock. We made good use out of the Lake and the Pizza place. The kids all had a blast and we and many others are looking to do it again next year. You treated us right and had plenty for us to do. Everyone we came in contact with, from Beach Patrol to lifeguards to bartenders to front desk to turtle races and games was terrific. Thanks more

Thank you for taking such good care of our administrators at their retreat last week. They were delighted with everything including the sleeping rooms, meeting room, food a activities. I also want to express my appreciation to you for making by job easier in planning the retreat. You both were extremely helpful and efficient and had all details, big and small, covered. This is their third retreat and I have to say that it was the easiest and smoothest by far to plan, thanks to you bot more

My parents (both now deceased) honeymooned at Split Rock Lodge in 1944. They often talked about what a wonderful trip they had. I have two cherished photographs: The first one is of my mother, dressed for a hike in the woods (very casual for her!) sitting on my fathers lap in a big leather easy chair. They are in what looks like a very rustic looking main room in front of a fireplace. Very cozy! The second photograph is of some buildings (possibly cabins?) along the lake shore. The lake is frozen, and there is snow all around. It is a beautiful shot, and truly makes you want to be there! I live in California, but would love to visit Split Rock Lodge some day... my parents made it sound delightful! more

My husband and I received a gift certificate from a local radio station. I do a tremendous amount of work for our local (Dorchester County) American Cancer Society and Relay For Life so, they rewarded me. What a surprise to arrive on a Wednesday in April to snow!!!!!! It was great though because the deer were really out and we got some awesome pictures of them. One of them or more I am sure will become Christmas Cards for our friends. We stayed in the Church Cabin and totally enjoyed the peacefulness. The bartenders were great. Especially in the Galleria. The meals were excellent and it was nice to have the offer of all the different attractions but, best of all you could do nothing if you wanted. We truly enjoyed ourselves. Thank you for a great relaxing weekend. more

We have been guest of Split Rock Resorts since 2000 and we come back every three months since 2000. The staff is great and the resort is the best in the poconos. We will be back this coming May 2003. My wife and I were married in 2000 and our son who is 15 months is a Split Rock baby and loves it. We send my friends to the resort and they love it to. Thanks Split Rock for all the great times and times ahead more

The spouse and kids events were well organized easily planned which included hiking, swimming, arcade, bowling, movies, sports and ice cream parlor more

We became owners yesterday and already have some memories of walking by the lake together after our tour. We cant wait to start making more memories and to bring our teenagers up to see it. We have been in a slump for so many years, no vacations to speak of, just work around the house when we had any time off so we are looking forward to once again spending some time as a couple and enjoying life! more

The Lake Room was lovely and more than met our needs. All of our rooms at the Lodge were spacious and very clean. Your staff were most courteous and helpful. The meals at the restaurants were delicious and enjoyed by all. The banquet room was set up so well. Food there was delicious and plentiful and, as usual, the service was outstanding. We really had a spectacular weekend at Split Rock Resort! more

I just wanted to thank you and all your staff for a job well done at Spit Rock Resort.Our Builder Conference was a huge success from start to finish. If we needed something done, your staff was on it and took care of it ASAP.Our customers were truly enamored with the Willowbrook suites and felt as if they were being treated to something very special.
