Stayed there over the weekend and it was wonderful. We didn't partake of the Murder, but it was fun to see those that did. We stayed in the main house and the ""noise"" from the two dinners didn't bother us. \r

But, if you aren't partaking and want a quieter experience, then stay in one of the outer rooms like the Carriage House or the Garden rooms. They are seperate from the main house where the dinner theater takes place. We knew ahead of time by reading the website that the dinners were held on Fri and Sat, it was still our choice to say in the main house. \r

Allen and Mary, the owners, are superb hosts that will go out of their way to make sure your stay is a good one. Allen has so many wonderful stories about the house and the history of the area and of his family.\r

Yes, the house is old but that is part of the charm. The rooms are clean and comfortable, the food is very good. The house is just full of pictures and momentos from the family, you can just feel the history.
