friendly and family atmosphere here 5/6/2011

I have been a member at this Club for about 6 years. I have always received the nicest of treatment. I would recommend highly, their swimming aerobics classes, message treatments, palates classes, and their weights and exercise machines. With your membership, you receive a free session with a personal trainer to set up your program and to teach you how to use the machines. This can be evaluated at any time. There us a friendly and family atmosphere here. more

this place is great 5/4/2011

i want to say I just joined 3 weeks ago and this place is great. I had been there about four years ago and it was kind of old looking. Now it is completely redone and it's like a new club. The staff made me feel very comfortable. What I liked most was they gave me a trainer and it really helped me to get started. more

EXTREMELY well priced 4/28/2011

Spa 23 is a great local 24-hour gym off of Route 23 in NJ. They offer a lot of opportunities to get a great workout, be it Aquacise in the indoor pool, lifting weights, or walking the treadmill. Membership fees are EXTREMELY well priced. more

The facilities are clean and well-managed. The staff is very helpful, and will get you on the right path with not only exercise, but nutrition as well. I definitely recommend it more

Have like this place from the get go and they have been there quite a few years now. It is clean and has enough equipment for everyone. The addition of the indoor pool is a great plus. Location is good and parking is more than enough since they opened the additional back parking lot more

I am dying to get my grandchildren there for classes 4/15/2011

Although I have had very little interaction with the ""Martial Arts"" classes for children I must comment on that area of the club. As a primary grade school teacher I always find myself lingering at the window to watch some of the kids' classes. I'm always dumbfounded and amazed at how great the instructor is with the children. The children don't take their eyes off him when he speaks, and they all appear to be very active, happy, participants. I am dying to get my grandchildren there for classes more

We adore the nursery you offer! 3/24/2011

I had to bring my grandchildren to the Nursery at Spa 23 one day...I was very pleased with the experience...and so were the boys (age 3 and 4). My daughter in law has a lifetime membership a well known health club and can rarely use it because the boys HATE going to their nursery! One other day when I had the boys and wanted to take a class they said they couldn't wait to go to my gym. They said,""We love your gym. It's better than mommy's!"" more

I thought the club would be too ""big"" for my liking, but I have found that every area is broken up in such a way that the club still has a comfortable and ""homey"" feel. more

The food area is great! 3/17/2011

I love, love, love the ""food"" area. It's so nice to grab a cup of coffee before a workout on a cold day. The food is really good, especially when you're on the run. After class I love to relax in the lounge area with a ""Smoothie"". They are to die for! The girls at the counter are so nice that I can't leave without tipping them at least a dollar! more

Clean 3/15/2011

It pleases me that the facility is so clean. Another appealing factor is that the club is always ""updating"". The pool and pool equipment are great, the steam room, hot tub....everything is super! The locker system is excellent....I know I'm missing lots of other things...but I think you get the idea! more

They help me with my arthritis 3/11/2011

I usually get to the Spa once or twice a week. The few classes I take (Pilates, Centergy, Yoga) are the only things keeping my arthritis from slowing me down completely. (My son is a chiropractor, and he agrees!) more

Love the classes and instructors 3/4/2011

So began my new adventure at Spa 23! The transition was smooth; I liked the classes and the instructors very much, the entire staff was friendly, helpful, and professional. Since I live in Fair Lawn I felt I would be happier if I could find a gym that was a little more convenient....particularly with the cost of gas being what it is. more
