The Southington-Cheshire Community YMCAs is a human service association, nationally affiliated, and worldwide in scope, serving individuals and families in the greater Southington and Cheshire areas. Christian in our heritage, we are ecumenical in our delivery of services and in our membership. The YMCA assists people in learning the skills and attitudes that will enrich their lives, help them grow and develop to realize their full potential, and lead them to inter-racial, interfaith, international and intergenerational understanding. Within our expertise and means, the YMCA will also strive to address unmet social needs. Emphasis shall be on developing the whole person as embodied in the YMCA symbol, a triangle, signifying the union of spirit, mind, and body.
