This is one of the worst experiences i've had with a business. I brought in an alteration--a item that needed a new zipper. I asked him on the phone how much it would be. He said $25-$30 dollars. I brought it in the same day. He said it would be ready in 2 weeks. Would you believe iit took me 2 months to get my item back? I never once received a call from him telling me what the hold-up was. I had to keep calling him every week. He said ""OH, the place I sent it out to put the wrong colored zipper on it. I had to send it back."" I said--that takes 2 months?!\r
It was finally ready soon after that. I came in and he said, ""That will be $60.00."" I said, ""are you kidding me--your written bill says $30."" He said, ""true, but it took us a long time because the company we sent it out to put on the wrong zipper."" I said ""How is that my fault?"" He just gave me an unconcerned look, and offered no apologies. I wanted my experience to be finished once and for all, so I paid silently, and walked out. I look back and regret this. \r
WARNING: you WILL be taken advantage of here, and your order WILL take twice, three, maybe four times as long as he says it will. I couldn't imagine depending on this man to have a tuxedo ready for a wedding in time--he couldn't even handle a zipper. There are so many better tailors, and tuxedo shops out there--consider yourself warned!
