Southern Exterior Concepts, All Sales, no Service 4/3/2007

We hired Southern Exterior Concepts in March 05 and they gave a great sales pitch and upsold us on a stone retaining wall even. The owner is a 100% salesman. He quoted a 3 week job for backyard landscaping and some drainage issues. It took 3 months of lies and false promises from the owner on the phone before we just had to fire him. My husband spent the next 2 years on his own doing all the work on weekends. Southern Exterior Concepts has poor customer service and needs to be more honest in their work when working with customers. I would not recommend them. more

Very Disappointed 8/27/2006

I hired this company in 5/05 to do some brickwork and minor landscaping. The work was never completed and I filed a complaint with a business bureau (on 11/06) that was also never resolved. The company finally posted a rebuttal to my complaint on 8/06 but have never followed through with their rebuttal. The company owner, although a very pleasant man to talk to, makes promises over the phone he never keeps. \r \r I have seen pictures of his work on large projects and the results always appear very nice. Perhaps the problem was mine was a very small project and not worth the time and effort to complete?\r \r All-in-all I would not recommend this company. more
