I have never been to any provider less connected to their patient than this business. My time was not important to this business. My concerns were not of interest to this provider. Mistake after mistake was made both in scheduling and billing. And today after waiting 2 months from the time a mold was made for a night guard, to receiving it. I asked for the doctor to call me for additional help when it was taking so long. The doctor never did. Today I showed up for my appt with the doctor and to get my guard. The doctor never came in to meet with me. The medical assistant gave me the guard, asked me to sign a paper about instructions for the guard. I could hear her ask the doctor if I should wait 1/2 for the doctor to free their schedule to meet me. And evidently, I didn't matter. The MA sent me on my way, but told me to come back in 4 weeks. FAT Chance I will ever give them my business again. Horrible Horrible Horrible more

Dr. Van Der Ven of South Sound Oral Medicine may indeed run behind timewise -- but it's only because he gives each patient the individual time and attention he or she deserves. He listens, and he truly cares. I received excellent care for my TMJ issue. When I left his office after wrapping up my treatment, I felt as if I had all the tools I needed to take care of my TMJ. I recommend him highly. more

Avoid at all cost! I was referred by Group health for a sleep device due to sleep apnea. I was told by the doctor the device would cost a couple hundred dollars. I was shocked to receive a bill for 800. They cancelled appointments with me at the last minute, overbooked appointments and had me waiting for over 45 minutes on two occasions. They also ignored all request for a sleep study using their device. A terrible company with a terrible reputation! Pros: price gouging Cons: everything more
