Dinner at the South Shore is usually very good. Manhattan prices, almost Manhattan service. The food is usually excellent. In the 6 years I've been going, I've had one bad meal (rack of lamb had all fat and no meat) and the waiter ignored my complaint. Other than that one incident, the food is great.
Parties are another story. Any event, from a work get together to a wedding, will be perfect. There is no other place on Staten Island that I would even consider for a wedding. It blows a way most Brooklyn weddings I've been to.
Pros: ambiance, service
Cons: expensive, south shore of SI
