I have been taking our three pets (2 dogs & 1 cat) to SJVH) for 25 years. They have always been attentive to the animal's needs and also take time to explain what the problems are with each. I don't believe it is possible to find a more professional group of doctors and assistants anywhere. more

I took my dog in because he'd quit eating, had not eaten for days and we were worried. They worked him in right away, just before closing, did not charge any emergency fees and took great care of him.\r \r Then, because the bill was so high in trying to diagnose and find the issue, they discounted the bill and let us pay over a couple of weeks. more

we took our dog to them when she was having trouble breathing and couldn't move they proceeded to argue with us over how old she was (the dog was 3) and if they were going to charge us an emergency fee. while they were debating the dog died in the car because they are worthless and don't even try to help you. more

I've lived all over the country and bring my pets with me everywhere. This is the best veterinary hospital I have ever been to. They are kind, convenient, not expensive and extremely compassionate. Also, the vets I've seen there (Amy Doornekamp and Diane Ferry) are very up to date on the latest trends in medicine and surgery. My dog had a knee surgery (that would have cost 3times as much anywhere else) and he's running around like the mad man he was before his injury. Moving to the country I decided to get into horses. Dr. Doornekamp was FANTASTIC when my sweet mare coliced and nearly died--I am absolutely convinced she save her life. Amy Doornekamp almost killed one of my horses and lied about medical records she has no morals or ethics she should not be allowed to practice Veterinarian medicine in this Country-Horse owners please do not use her!!!! more

Very helpful whether on the phone or in the office. Try to answer your questions and if have no answer they go out of their way to find it for you. Affordable pricing and make your pet and you feel at ease. more
