Was searching for a gym when I moved down here and saw all these reviews. Took a free class and joined. Bad ass trainers and a bad ass gym. Thanks to everyone who reviewed it.

Great gym. Classes are for all levels. Great work out space with all the toys. Best of all, it’s not a Nazi gym with rules all over the place. They are great at letting you do your thing, yet being very helpful when you need them. If you’re serious about working, not just getting on a treadmill, this spot is it. more

This place is raw. If you like your gym to be a fashion show, well, that???s your loss. No pretentious bs at this gym. It???s an old school gym with new school attitude. They train you like an athlete with all kinds of intense 1 hour classes. Been working out there for about a month and I feel and look great. Can???t believe the quick results I???ve seen. The trainers are cool and know their sh*%. They also have weights and cardio machines, but all I???ve needed is the classes. My friends told me about this place when I first moved here. Checked out other places and stoked I chose south florida boxing. more

Great Gym! 5/17/2012

So, I came to this place with one of those coupon deals and got hooked right away. I like to consider myself a fit person that has been to gyms all over the world, but this place had an energy like no other. The staff, trainers and members were all so down-to-earth and helpful. No bs, no fashion show. Just cool people having a great time while getting fit. Classes are intense! They have all the classes and equipment I need at a great price. Need I say it? Yes, I became a member. more

Wow! 5/13/2012

Friendliest staff I've ever seen at a gym. Everyone is so welcoming. Been to many gyms around the world and all the so-called gyms on South Beach. This place gives me the best work-out of my life. The classes are intense and exactly what I need. What I like best is that everyone makes me feel comfortable. Thanks guys for making my 1 hour workout the best 1 hour of my day...all fun yet very intense. more

I HATED South Florida Boxing & Fitness 2/11/2012

There are plenty of other gyms to go to, this one is not a good choice. I hated every minute of this place mainly because of the staff. I hope that helps. more

TERRIBLE TERRIBLE TERRIBLE 2/11/2012

I've been a member to most all gyms in Miami Beach and I can safely say this was the ALL TIME WORST place. They are okay when you first sign up but then they treat you like dirt. They only care about getting the next person in. Also the place smells like an armpit. more

They are rude, parking is a huge pain, and worst of all they will rip you off at the end of your membership by automatically signing you for a second year. more

Best Gym Ever! 10/3/2011

This gym is amazing! I was looking for a place to train while I was away from home, and I stumbled upon South Florida Boxing. I was warmly greeted after I walked up the impressive stairs that lead to an equally impressive gym. I was nervous about training some place new, but every trainer I worked with was awesome! Each trainer offers a unique workout, and I can safely say that I haven't worked that hard since my days of dancing for 8 hours a day in the ballet. I left every workout feeling revived and excited about life! If you have never boxed before, you have to try it. If you are a seasoned boxer and don't know about this gym, get there fast! The trainers and facility are superb. more

Fighter's Gym 8/29/2007

If you like to fight, this gym cant be beat. Some of Miami's best boxers and kick boxers still train here. The weight equipment isn't very good but its good enough to supplement your training routine if you're interested in practicing your martial arts. Classes are also great. Parking isnt too bad, as there is a public garage a couple blocks away. Pros: best martial arts/boxing gear in town Cons: weight equipment needs some love more
