I highly recommend this shop for anyone. Very affordable and honest. Took my wifes jeep grand cherokee to them after a horrible wiring job (not metioning any names). PePe cleaned the wiring and installed a new indash double din reciever without any issues. He was very helpful and did a real clean job. Will be doing more buisness with them in the near future. more

I needed to put power lock system and possibly a car alarm. Mr. Kim, the owner is a very eager shop owner and he gave me reasonable quotes. Cheaper than or similar to another shop I went before. They did the job nicely at a low cost. I know they put basic alarm system, but that was what I wanted for my old car. No nonsense or asking to put expensive one.\r \r I also added sound insulation on all my doors. It was not too expensive as it was done with the power door locking. I saw that they were doing windows tinting. They delegate the job to another guy(shop?). The offer I got from him for windshield and two front doors was the lowest I could get. It was done as I wanted. Everything works as said. Fast and pleasant. I recommend the shop. I noticed that this shop was the busiest around the area(I took a long walk on El Cajon blvd). more

Having just replaced a car stolen from the back of our home, we were in the market for alarm installers that knew what they were doing. Having surveyed the market for expertise and value, we zeroed in on Soundiego on El Cajon Blvd. They were great about getting all the security layers needed to be sure we wouldn't lose another to thieves, they also replaced a factory stereo and blown speakers with the most incredible multifunction stereo/lbluetooth phone with AMAZING speakers! more

Great, Great, Great! i got a gift for a radio install and wanted to get additional speakers for my car... not only did they help me with finding the right speakers for my budget- i was out in 45 min! the owner is super friendly and knowledgeable, and the staff is equally as helpful and very hard working! i was out quicker than i was in! i will DEFINITELY be doing business here again! more

Mr. Kim and his installer were great! I had a satellite radio without the necessary wiring and antenna. He found parts that we needed and his installer figured out how to mount it beautifully. I'm so impressed that I'm bringing my other vehicle in to have the satellite radio reinstalled by professionals! I'd definitely recommend him more

This place is the best I feel. I've been coming here for 6 years and have never had a problem. I purchased my whole system here and my alarm. All JL Audio, Boston Acoustic, Alpine, and Clifford. All high quality stuff. This place doesn't carry garbage equipment. My sub and amp are 6 yrs old and still bump hard. Of course its JL but thats besides the point. They're an Authorized dealer of all the brands they carry which is really important cause that means they know what they're doing. They're certified to install the brands they sell. I think Kim's a cool dude! People say he's a hustler but I feel like people are always trying to hustle him. I've noticed on multiple occasions where Kim was giving the customer a good deal and the customer was like ""you can't go lower?"" People always want champagne on a beer budget is all I can say. If you go in and talk to Kim like a person and chop him up a little instead of trying to hustle him for a cheap price, I guarantee he'll take care of you. I went in today and he hooked me up! $86 to install a new power door lock motor, new ""Stinger"" brand auxiliary cable for the IPod, and he fixed my back window that didn't roll down at no cost. He found that the back window just a bad wire so he installed a new wire, cleaned the connections and it was good to go. Thought I was gonna have to buy a new window motor but nope not this time, Thanks to Kim more

I had some reservations about using this shop with a couple of negative reviews & a bit of a shady area.\r I could'nt be happier with the nav install, Eric went out of his way to do a factorty looking install & Kim the owner was very proffesional who honered his price. I would highly reccomend these guys just do your homework first & know what you want & want to spend. more

Recently brought my car in to install an iPod adapter. Had called around to various car stereo shops, and was quoted anywhere from $100 - $250. Soundiego quoted me $80, and despite my qualms about the neighborhood, I went ahead and took the plunge.\r \r Work was done well and on time! Told my brother about it, and he went in two days later to add an iPod adapter to his car as well. Both of us had already purchased iPod adapters elsewhere, so the price quoted was for just the install.\r \r Nothing but good things to say about Soundiego. Call around to some of their competitors, and you'll find out that they are the best deal available for installation. more

The location of this busines should be of concern. Located in not the greatest community in San Diego. Their prices are very reasonable and the employees are often helpful. Parking is very limited. Their selection is limited and leaves much to be desired more

I was a little reluctant to try this place due to a few of the reviews but I decided the Groupon/Living Social offer was too good of a deal to pass up. I was beyond thrilled by the professionalism, workmanship, and speed of service. These guys clearly know what they are doing.\r \r In my situation, my installed stereo was larger than the stereo I needed installed. So I knew I would have to buy a kit and a couple of other cables to install the bluetooth. They were very upfront with what my costs would be before the work began. Also -- the (used) bluetooth unit I had brought in for them to install had a loose cable which I found out after I left the place and was 15 minutes into my first phone call when the audio began crackling. I went back to the shop and let them know it wasn't working right (even though it was initially). They pulled the whole thing out, troubleshooted it and fixed it - and put it all back in for me. It was extra labor for them on a Saturday but they didn't charge me to make things right. I highly recommend them. more

Went in here the other day to use a Groupon for a stereo installation. I have a beater 1995 4Runner and was looking for a cheap upgrade over the stock cassette deck. Showed them the Groupon along with a cheapo aftermarket deck I got from Amazon, filled out some paperwork, and was out in about 90 minutes.\r \r These guys were very professional and from the amount of customers I saw coming in and out, are doing something right to earn people's business. I talked to a dude who has been driving down from San Marcos for over 10 years just to see these guys. The parking in the back can be a little tight but I was impressed with the customer service and selection. more

I have had three cars alarms and two stereos done at Soundiego and love the work. Kim (The manager) is very fair with his prices and the work is always done on the same day.\r I just had to uninstall a car stereo to sell a car and I brought it to Kim and it was done in 2 hours, and my car was restored to factory settings. I went to soundiego a few day ago to get an alarm and a new CD player for my 2003 honda civic, I told the sales guy what I was looking for and how much I had to spend, Mr Kim showed me the choices of CD players and alarms, the one I was interested in was over my price range Mr Kim worked with me and keep it with in my price range, the work was done fast and clean.
