Yes there is a line. Yes Yasser is abrupt. And yes, you won't find too many better breakfast joints around. The omlettes are fluffy, filled with flavorful fresh ingredients and...

Been there twice - each time grill/crusted mashed potato's don't make it for home fries and their bacon was so thin, the three pieces actually made one normal. Soundbites sould be...

Eggs Benedict-oy vey! 11/14/2002

SoundBites is a replica of your own kitchen. The food is to die for. It is the place to go when you have that craving for chocolate chip pancakes or any other breakfast treat. Be prepared to wait in line though if you go at peak hours. Pros: Food, Inexpensive, Menu selection Cons: Small restaurant, Busy, No parking more

Hurry Up and Shove in your food! 11/13/2002

Sound bites is great - if you live a couple of block saway and just run over for a bite. Don't come from far away. It's small, you are eating on top of others tables, they rush you so much that if you dawdle at all they will take away your plate out from underneath you and push you out the door. I've seen them yell at people who took too long. The line can be long, but since they give you 5 minutes to eat, it moves fast. Good thing is that it's cheap, quick and the food is quite good. You have to push through the tables to get your coffee yourself- if you are wider than 13"", bring along a skinny friend to fetch your coffee for you. Don't plan on bringing the Sunday globe for a relaxing morning of sipping coffee and picking at your omlett. Pros: Good Food, VERY QUICK Cons: Rude owners and staff, Time limit on table, too crowded inside more

YUM! 11/11/2002

Sound Bites is a jewel...if you can handle the quick service. Don't expect to relax and enjoy it. The no-place-like-homefries are liek no other...amazing. more

Best Brunch by far! 9/11/2002

It seemed like Cafe Heaven in P-town when my BF and I were there! - Mike Pros: great food, self-serve coffee, quality ingrediants Cons: small, longish wait - brunch, diner like room more

Best Breakfast Around 9/5/2002

The food is great! My favs...multigrain waffle w/fruit & Green Eggs/ No Ham! It's in a college neighborhood, so lines can be long, just get there before they wake up :) The line moves incredibly fast. The bottom line re: surliness from staff; they don't like when you hang out in there & chit chat, so if you are going for a social gathering, this is not the best place. I personally find the surliness amusing, but Im on their good side :) Pros: inexpensive, great food Cons: parking more

lame... 8/27/2002

This place does serve up a decent breakfast but it's not worth the wait. Our reward for the hour wait was rude service and overpriced food. This place is great for the boring rich kid Tufts crowd that it attracts. A trendy snooze at best :/ more

The Gourmet Greasy Spoon! 8/4/2002

The best is being able to drink as much delicious coffee you want while waiting in line. The worst is waiting in line. more
