I have been having some tooth pain but I hate dentists and don't have dental insurance, so I've been putting off a much needed visit. When I saw Soft Touch Dental's special on cleaning and xrays, I made an appointment on a whim. The fact that they offered weekend appointments was an added convenience. As my appointment approached, I began to feel nervous that I was entrusting my mouth to some random dentist that I knew nothing about but thankfully it turned out to be my best experience at a dental office so far. The dentist is very knowledgeable but down to earth and friendly, and most importantly incredibly gentle. She really goes the extra mile to ensure you don't have any pain and when she sensed my nervousness, she took the time to relax me and answer all my annoying questions before proceeding. She was also very honest and sensitive to my financial concerns in advising a treatment plan, which was great because I was really gouged by the last dentist I visited; I definitely got the rare sense that she actually cared about my health and didn't just think of her patients as a dollar sign. I've also noticed that often the dental hygienist does all the work while you get charged for the dentist's degree, so it was nice to get the personalized care from the actual expert. Bottumline, I am a lazy person and the fact that I was actually impressed enough to take the time to write this review should be evidence enough that Soft Touch Dental is an exceptional practice! Also, I'd recommend making an appointment soon to take advantage of the specials as I'm not sure how long they're running.
