What a wonderful place. I hosted my mother’s 80th birthday there and it was spectacular! Everything was perfect; the menu, the food, the atmosphere, the hospitality, and the price. Alan allowed us freedom to decorate, move items around to accommodate our needs and gave top-notch customer service. I and all my guest give the place a perfect score of 10! more

My wife and I eat at social's three times a week..its a great place to eat. I m sorry that the other person had a bad time but seriously they are great. We LOVE it. more

Where to start... We decided to try this place for a change and boy were we sorry. The man working the counter was extremely rude and pushy. He didn't want to wait for us to decide what to order and since it was our first time there we had no idea what they offered. We had to find our own menus on a table and pick something fast. After ordering the food he quickly walked away without asking for our drink order. He was visibly annoyed with us. I had to chase him down at the counter and tell him what drink we wanted. The table we sat at was so sticky with old food not yet cleaned off that we switched tables. When we got our food our drinks were enpty but that didn't click for him. He never asked how we were doing or if we needed refils. The food was bad. The salad was made of that old hard, white hunks of lettuce that most restaurants don't serve. It had a lot of water in the bowl, which I still don't understand. The soup was extremely peppery and was unbearable to eat since I had no more water to drink it down. Finally, the chicken salad sandwich was dark yellow and tasted aweful. I know this seems like a made up story but I am not exagerating. After this exprience I went to our usual cafe and told everyone there the horror story. Word of mouth can help or hurt a lot. It is too bad this place just doesn't care.
