When my son tried to bring his service dog (who was wearing his vest) into this business, he was asked to leave - after my son explained that he is a service dog, at no time did the owner say he could stay. So, my son left not wanting to cause a scene. When my husband went back to explain to him that what happened is against ADA federal law… the man commented that anyone can put a vest on a dog. At no point was he humble or apologetic, he was rude and raised his voice to my son when my son said he felt like he was not welcome here. If this is how Snack Shack treats people with a disability, then he should not be a business owner in a family driven resort. As a side note, at no point did the dog bark, growl or cause any disturbance which would give the owner the right to not allow him into his business.
