Yet another dissatisfied ex-employee of Smoky Hill. I have held my tongue, thinking that perhaps they would hold up their end of the bargain but I was wrong. Having worked there for over a year I saw so many short cuts and excuses it's not even funny. Add to that, the fact that they STILL owe me $2650 in back pay, and it's amazing that they can even sleep at night. Pros: Absolutely zero Cons: Take your pick. more

I have had many friends and acquaintances do business with this company and haven't had any problems especially with quality of work and service they are very understanding of their clients especially when they disagree on anything. I suggest going and checking out this company and see the what the hype is very home town owned by a sweet older couple who have probably the most competitive prices around the workers there have so many years of experience. I expect them to be around for a long long time and hope that when i need a car restored they can do it for me Pros: Best Full top-down restoration and refinishing shop. Cons: They are in Granburry so it is a bit of a drive but worth it more

I recently was able to get my 1969 Chevelle SS out of Smoky Hill Restoration, in Granbury, Texas possession with the help of my attorney. After almost two years and many broken production promises I decided not to put up with the way I had been treated any longer. Smoky Hill Restoration in Granbury, Texas is now refusing to return most all of the original parts for the car that I need to complete the restoration. They have either sold the parts while my car was there or simply are not willing to give them back to me. My attorney is filing law suits this week to get my parts back and to stop them from using photos and other records of my car to sell and promote their business.
