I have had an increasingly loud exhaust problem and knew it was probably the resonator. They confirmed this and replaced only that part. I had always heard good things about them...

Worst

charged me $72 to drive my car around the block & tell me i needed a new transmission (which i already knew). took my business elsewhere.

Friendly staff 12/7/2011

Almost any time you walk into such an establishment, it is due to stressful circumstances. The friendly, professional staff made my experience not only tolerable, but quite pleasant. I especially appreciated how they offered several options and even gave pros and cons of each. The chandeliers in the shop will likely put a smile on your face too! more

Fast, friendly and affordable 10/21/2011

I walked in on a Friday afternoon and they looked at my car immediately. They saw what was wrong, gave me a few options and were able to fix it in 30 minutes. I feel if I had taken it to a chain repair store, they would have taken longer and not given me as many options, if any. I will be taking my car back here is I have any issues in the future. more

I couldn't be more pleased! 5/23/2011

I went into Smith Mufflers today expecting to spend a lot of money. My car had been really jerky and I spun out on the highway. The man at the front desk said to lift the car up and run some diagnostics would cost around $30-35 and I would only have to pay that if there ended up being nothing wrong. After the mechanic took my car for a drive he discovered that I just had low tire pressure and filled it up for free! It's very nice going to the mechanic and them not trying to rip you off, take as much money from you as they can or trying to upsell a ton of different products. I will definitely be going back!!! more

A great group of honest mechanics. 12/29/2008

Smith's has been my service center of choice for the last 9 years. \r These folks are honest. Neither I nor my wife have ever felt pressured. \r Take a look around their shop, it is neat and orderly - to me, that is the mark of good craftsmen. Pros: Top shelf craftsmen - solid experience Cons: The waiting area was better than most garages, but it is a waiting room... more
