We have been visiting Crested Butte since 1971 when we were here for our anniversary and have enjoyed eating at Slogar for over 20 years! When I want a really good down-home meal which is great for children, I always suggest Slogar. The fried chicken is great, the mashed potatoes, creamed corn and biscuits, just like grandma used to make and you can have all the sides you want. The fried chicken is limited, but we usually have a few pieces to take home in our ""people"" bag! If you are on a diet, I would not suggest this restaurant, as I always tend to overeat when I go, but it is great food!
