Great place to work out! 10/8/2006

My mother and I recently joined Slim and Tone and I love it! It's kinda like Curves but the machines are different and you only do 20 minutes on the circuit and then the other 10 minutes or more is spent doing just cardio and then 5 minutes of stretching. Everyone that works there is so nice and very helpful. You basically have a personal trainer each time you come to workout. They have 2 treadmills and 3 elipictical, a recumbant bike, they offer kick boxing classes and they have other equipment there to keep you busy. more

Circuit Training 9/17/2006

Even though I'm not a CE I am responding with a review on this subject. My daughter and I decided we needed to do something that we could do together, close to home and at our own pace. We just recently joined Slim and Tone, very much like Curves. It is not horribly strenoues on ones body like I thought it would be. You have a variety of hydraulic machines and bounce pads, plus tread mills, bikes and more. The thing I like best about it, only women go there .. no men. You work out for approximately 30 minutes per session. We already feel the difference. more
