When I walked in the door for my first treatment, someone on the phone at the front desk shoved paperwork in my face and told me to go upstairs and fill it out prior to my appointment - no introduction. The paperwork is an incredible amount of waivers (mostly stressing that there are no refunds and everything needs to be paid upfront) and also consent forms confirming that a ton of information about your procedure has been thoroughly explained to you - mind you that you have not spoken to anyone yet, so how could they expect you to sign this beforehand? \r

My appointment was late, and since this place is a revolving door, aimed at squeezing in as many clients as possible, I suffered for it. My technician never introduced herself. She called my name from down the hall when it was time for my appointment - the equivalent of yelling ""NEXT"". I informed her that I had signed the consent forms, but had not been given any information yet or had any type of consultation and I would like one. She completely ignored me, and proceeded to question me about whether I had paid already - clearly her only concern. Without ever speaking to me about my procedure or accessing my skin, she quickly started my treatment - pointing out that they were running behind and also that they were having problems with the machine (exactly what you want to hear as you are about to have a laser put to your face). \r

The entire photofacial procedure took 5 minutes - not the 30-45 that I had read it would. I explained to her the area that I was most concerned with and she didn't even touch that area on my jawline. The only time she spoke to me was to try to sell me a package and explain that I need to come in every 3 weeks for more treatments. I'm sure it does take multiple treatments to achieve results when you purposely rush through and half ass your treatments. \r

I had my treatment yesterday and I don't see any difference in my skin. None of the things that I had read would be happening at this point are, so I'm sure that I will have zero results. Not surprising, considering the entire procedure was a waste of time/money. If you care about your skin - avoid this place at all costs. They are not in the business of customer service. It's a money making scam\r

UPDATE:\r
After my original posting, I was contacted by the National Spa Director for Sleek. She was really nice, and genuinely concerned about the treatment I had received during my visit. She urged that I come back in for a second treatment at no cost so that she could show me that my experience was not their usual way of doing business. Reluctantly, I agreed. I'm glad I did. The second visit was 100% opposite from the first. Everyone was extremely nice and helpful. (Granted, I think they had been briefed about my prior visit and negative review) The girl who did my treatment, Brady, actually knew what she was doing and explained the procedure to me. She was pleasant and thorough, and I can already see that I've achieved some results from this second treatment (absolutely none after the first visit). Bottom line - they have the ability to do a good job. If you get the right person, on the right day - you should be happy. I just wonder which of my experiences is the true ""norm"". It was nice to see that they take criticism seriously and made a proactive effort to rectify the situation - and they have.
